Staff were nice and helpful

Breakfast was bad, everything tasted like it had been out for hours, despite us being there early We booked a deluxe king room and was charged a hefty price for it - it was terrible - small, two beds that were barely bigger than singles - it was a family room? I certainly asked for a double. I have paid a lot less for better standard rooms. The staff even remarked that the standard rooms, deluxes etc were all the same room but different prices!!!! Disgraceful considering the price. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of some repair - how they get away with charging what they do is beyond me. I complained and was given a complimentary breakfast...only to be charged this when we checked out, together with a 5% service charge for the restaurant that evening that was not seen anywhere on the bill i signed. We went back and asked for a refund and this was processed however it still hasn't reached my account. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.
