The St. Clair Hotel - Magnificent Mile

Nothing at all

Our toilet NEVER worked, overflowed, staff tried to fix, but not successful! Our remote did not work, and last night several people on our floor call the police for a domestic dispute! Would never stay or recommend this hotel

Great location!

Room smelled like sewage. Cockroaches in bathtub. I asked for "view preferred" and was mistakenly put on the second floor.

It was cheap and employees were nice.

It was dirty, smelly, and everything was old and broken down looking.

The location is perfect for Mag Mile shopping!! The employees were very nice. The price was also very low in comparison to neighboring hotels.

The room thermometer did not work. They tried to fix it and said if it didn't work we would have to switch rooms. The room was 77 and 78 degrees all day/night. The room size is very small. if you do not plan on being in your room much it is fine.

Any staff that we dealt with were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is in a convenient location.

The room wasn't filthy however it seems that they didn't try to hard to make it immaculate as we found receipts from previous tennants.

Location was great. Close to shopping and transportation. Central location.

When we reached our room, we couldn't identify our room number because there was no room number on our door, nor were there other numbers on the other doors. The door had several locks, one of which was condemned, even though we were supposed to use the magnetic card key. When we opened the door, the inside door bolt had previously caused a huge gash in the wall and ripped the wallpapaer and had never been repaired. The complimentary coffee pot was a cheap one-cup drip coffee maker, located in the closet on top of the safe, since there was no room for a table and a chair. Floor and bathroom seemed moldy in general and there was no fan to air the bathroom. Our room was next to the vending and ice machines and they were quite noisy.

The Young Black Lady at counter was soooo Very Helpfull-with directions- restaurant (Graet food) she suggesred-just very helpfull and nice,rooms were small and older beds O.K. pillows awful foam-- But it served the purpose-sleep leave our stuff-close to shopping(walk)shower-thats it not fancy-no extras.

Poor up keep of the rooms. Dirty bathrooms and the carpet was coming off the baseboards. The rooms were just runned downed and out dated.

cheap good location, large room, with living room, two tvs, a fridge, etc.

lame bed, not so clean, but just fine

In the following occasion I stay three or four days, probably with my wife

The location is ideal.

The smell and the cleanliness was poor. They did not have my reservation and had to make a new one when I got there.
