Resort Needs a Facelift

Evening reception was ok, Cheap wine and beer but a fun atmosphere. Breakfast was just ok. Scrambled eggs were swimming in something.

Room was quite dated. Showerhead from the 1970's. Paint peeling in the bathroom and rust in the sink. Room 110 in Building B. This was probably a great place in its day. Needs to be shut down and completely remodeled.

The rooms and all appliances and tvs were com the 1980's or older The rooms had dirt and dust around every wall edge and the Sheetrock wS falling off in the bathroom. If you are in building C be sure to ask if your room is on the street side as it us very noisy. Most windows do not open and all seem to be old aluminum frames

The suites have everything needed for extended stays (microwave, ironing board, dishes, etc). The location is close to the airport and close enough to the old Scottsdale center with free shuttle service provided by the resort.

The property could use some TLC. The bathroom fan was broken and did not get fixed even though the problem was pointed out. No explanation or apology was forthcoming, it felt like the problem was ignored by the staff. The door between living room and bedroom was so warped that it didn't properly close. The breakfast choices were very limited. This would be a real shortcoming on extended stays!

The facility was well wron and not as clean as expected. Ironing board cover did not fit. Hair dryer would not stay in its holder. Screen on main room window was bent. Having only one computer accesable in the lobby and you had to stand up to use it.
