Value shouldn't compromise cleanliness

It was the cheapest hotel I found.

The price of a place should be reflected based on location, amenities and service. Not on cleanliness.

Not worth price

The rooms were dirty and not very nice. Very easily a $30 dollar room anywhere else.

Low price? Just fine.

We paid $125 for our room because of short notice v-day shopping and lack of available rooms in the rest of town. They had a sign out front stating "$49 and up" which is the quality of hotel this was. Nothing wrong about that, I typically stay at places like that anyways, but a room like this shouldn't cost more than $75 after taxes/fees.

The staff was unhelpful and not willing to extend to late check out.

The location was convenient to the Outlet Malls, Dunkin' Donuts and a wide array of restaurants.

The lobby, room, bathroom, and landscaping all were in dire need of a complete renovation. The carpet was absolutely filthy, the bathroom was disgusting and the place simply needs to be shut down and given a complete renovation. In addition, an inspector needs to come in a couple of times (on a weekend and during a slow period) to see that the current management "team" is an embarrassment to the Howard Johnson name and should be fired immediately. The overall condition of this hotel is a direct reflection of the incompetence and laziness of the management. There should be a zero tolerance for allowing this hotel to be so filthy.

It was a terrible place to stay

The pool had GREEN algae in it and it burned my grandson's throat. The a/c unit had so much lint I used an entire towel to clean the filter. The floor/carpet felt damp all the time. The first room they gave me the frig was not cooling and the sink area looked like it had not been cleaned. Within the hour of them changing me from that room they put another family in it and the maid service was not available at the time. The second room had what looked like blood stains on the sheets and when I asked for them to be changed I was told the maid service was unavailable, so I said I would change them if they would give me the sheets, but was told the office did not have access to more sheet. Also the spreads had burns on them. I would not recommend this place to any one. Had I not already paid I would not have stayed there, but I'm retired and could not afford to lose my money.

The front desk staff were very friendly.

The bathroom tile was cracking in several places. The wear and tear are just too noticeable and it no longer carries the branding set by the Ramada name for superior quality. We requested close proximity to old town and it was over 10 miles away.
