Location was great in central Asakusa. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to attempt to speak English and stomached our terrible Japanese with smiles. They were happy to store our bags both before and after our stay.
The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The window was entirely boarded up, no natural light. There was no hand soap available. I found hairs of previous guests in the room.

The hotel was easy to find and a short 5 minute walk from Tawaramachi Station. The bedroom and bathroom areas were spacious. Retro style decor and fairly clean. Loved the area. Slightly more laid back than the hustle of Shibuya. Close to Sensoji Temple which is beautiful at night. Go early in the daytime for a different perspective, also beautiful. The Asakusa Tourist Information Centre has a free observation deck of the Temple and the market area that leads up to it. The hotel is also close to some of our favourite cheap shops like Daiso, Asakusa Don Quijote, and Seiyu Supermarket. Great places for souvenirs, essentials, and food. The supermarket marks down it's prepared foods at night. We bought tonkatsu dinners for as low as 266 Yen there. The staff were very nice. Helpful when we needed to find a laundrymat near the hotel.
The lighting at the vanity was a bit dark so it was difficult to apply make up properly and my partner could not shave well. We didn't use the dark pink jacuzzi tub because it was hard to tell if it was clean. The lighting close to the tub was dim. Could not get the fridge to be cold and we found it was actually shut off when we returned one day to the room. Fortunately, the food we placed in there did not spoil.

For fans of unusual hotels or Austin Powers. This is a swinging love hotel, baby, in Asakusa, with satin pillows, naughty 90’s globe lights and porthole windows. It is vintage, but clean. The bed is huge but hard. It does not rotate. The bathtub is in a separate room from the toilet, it is quite deep and features a TV with a remote. The staff is quite friendly and welcoming. The lobby smells of cigarette smoke, but the room did not. Includes free sweets, water and welcoming gifts. Some will really enjoy their stay here, some may not. Bonus points for 12pm checkout - virtually unheard of in Japan!
As I said, the bed was a little hard for me.

In Asakusa neighborhood, just next to Sensoji temple. Just few meters from nearest convenience store. Many restaurants and shops around the area. So close to 2 train stations. Wonderful staffs, they’re mostly older people. Complete amenities. A lot of skin care product for men and women (it’s love hotel after all). Least but most important, it’s spacious! Very worth the money. I know there’s a review that the room was not soundproof despite it being a love hotel, but in our experience never in our 7 nights stay that we got disturbed by fellow guests or from road noise. Remember to book room no. 301! The room itself is non-smoking even though you can smoke in every corner of the building, even inside the elevator.
Maybe the only downside (if it’s can be called that at all) was the odd furniture that looked ‘misplaced’. Like there was this coffee table that blocked the entrance, but once you move it to the other corner then problem no more. Unfortunately you cannot bring non-guest to your room. When a friend came for a short visit, we met and chit chat in the lobby (it’s small, mind you). I think it’s to respect the privacy of other tenants :)

The bathroom was much bigger and better than we expected, the bath even had jets. The amenities were almost as good as in a much more expensive love hotel we have visited before. The staff replaced all amenities every day, we could also ask for a full cleaning anytime. We had pretty much everything we needed in our room, it was a pleasure to stay there.
The soundproofing wasn't so great- I could hear people and vacuum cleaning in the corridor, which always woke me up in the morning and also impacted privacy. The room was a bit more expensive online than if we came to the hostel without reservation and chose one on the spot.
