Tomato Backpackers Hotel

The best hostel that I experienced here in Italy by far. Everything is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great and everything is at a walking distance. Can't recommend it enough.

The rooms are amazing. Spacious, super clean and the mattresses are soooo comfortable. A big locker is at your disposal and a cute bar with a good variety on drinks and fresh made food. If you're lucky the chef is there (sorry, I forgot your name) and you get to try some of his delicious meals.

Very friendly staff - helpful with restaurant recommendations, welcome me back after a few days away. Great location in a hip area of Turin - access to a lovely urban park, excellent restaurants, gelaterias, etc. Would have loved to stay longer and explore the area. Stayed in two different rooms on two different stays. Both were simple but nice - try to get one with a balcony overlooking the central courtyard. Travel guides for dozens and dozens of countries!

A bit warm during my visit and the room didn't have A/C. Had fan blasting most of night to make up for it. Communal kitchen is a nice touch but unfortunately it's in the basement so it's a bit dreary. More breakfast options at the cafe would be nice - right now it's mostly toast, muesli, coffee, and the like.

The mattress was stiff enough and the bathroom clean. The personnel as good tips about the bars and restaurants around.
