They turned me away when I could have been at the gate 50 minutes prior, well before boarding"

Cathay Pacific did not print the middle name of the boarding pass. Apparently, Hong Kong is strictly on the passport exactly matching the boarding pass. We were stopped before security and Cathay Pacific decided it was the perfect opportunity to charge us $400 for a rebooking instead of amending the name, which we had entered correctly in the first place. We were pushed back and forth between kayak and cathay when kayak told us they weren't able to change the name on the day of the flight. Will never fly cathay or book from kayak again."

I was asked to go to LGA for an 830 flight to PIT. The airline did not help cover any transport fees (IT WAS $14 USD!) Seriously?! And the bags did not get changed to the other terminal. Once I got to LGA my flight was cancelled and I was rebooked for the next morning. The airline did nothing to help me with a hotel or transport, absolutely nothing. I arrived at the airport for the 12:30 flight but that was delayed until 2:30 then 3:30 then 4:30 and eventually took off at 5:30. I was given no sympathy from any of the staff I interacted with. Everyone was rude to me, I did my best to remain civil and did not at anytime raise my voice. Although, looking at other customers it seems if I had made a fit or raised my voice I would have gotten better service. Absolutely ridiculous, I am never flying cathay again."

The food voucher was nice but it was all word of mouth among the passengers. To have a 5 hour delay is tough. You should have better charging facilities at your gates. You could only stand and charge and the plugs were all Hong Kong/English specific. Nothing universal about those plugs. I had to borrow an adapter to charge my laptop during the delay. The spicy fish dish tasted like it had been fouled during the delay. I like spicy fish generally but this tasted tainted."

I had plenty of room in the two checked in bags but they had already been processed and moved out on the conveyer belt. Never heard of such as small allowance for carry-on luggage, at least on Delta, United and the other airlines I generally fly. My impression was that this rule was not much enforced since I saw many carry-on bags bigger than mine and judging by the effort I saw when people put them overhead, they likely were heavier than mine."

Khuyết điểm: "Once I asked the air hostess for a sandwich, i was really hungry, she said she would have to walk to back of plane and they would be serving food in 15 minutes. After 45 minutes I went back to ask for a sandwich and handed me a tray of meal and said to eat this."

Khuyết điểm: "On the runway, the crew upgraded a family with two small toddlers. They cried on and off non stop and walked back and forth in business class. I pay for business class so I can have some peace and quiet ! Crew informed everyone that they switch this family seat due to the safety of this family seat. I understand they need seats but crew should upgrade another couple with no toddlers and maybe a star alliance gold member rather than give this family with the toddlers the upgrade. No one wants to pay for business class with 2toddlers crying and up and down aisle ."

The footrest was not long enough and the feet were dangling in the air. The blanket and bedding was provided almost 3 hours after take-off Worst of all was baggage handling. Our luggage was severely damaged. The handle to the suitcases was torn off. In addition the bags and the contents were wet when we received them in Boston. IT had been raining in Istanbul and it seems the bags were left out in the open. I've been trying to get Turkish to repair the torn-off handles but I'm constantly hitting a wall. I have filed a claim but the support staff sends extremely brief denials with no explanation."

Also, flight attendants did not request people to sit up during meals which made eating very difficult in my case. 3. Bathrooms were very dirty during the last 1/3 of the flight and remained so, including no toilet paper and paper towels. 4. No second serving for refreshment beverages during flight."

The flight from JFK got delayed and for unknown reason when arriving to the gate in Istanbul my seat was given to other passengers - though I came to the gate before the boarding was closed. I have never in my life received such a poor service. I was lied/misled/attacked by Turkish airline employees in the gate and in the transfer desk. I would never recommend taking Turkish airlines to anyone"

Flight attendants are extremely rude, not helpful, the food is terrible, the planes are all old Boeing 777-300 likely purchased second hand and seem to be falling apart on the inside. I saw flight attendants kicking, punching, and body slamming carts and other items to get them to fit in their racks in the kitchen areas, I hate to think what that means for safety of critical items. Just stay away for your safety and sanity"

Khuyết điểm: "The flight TK 119 (Khi - Istanbul) reached Istanbul late by half an hour. The layover at Istanbul was 1 hr 25 m. The distance to reach Gate 504 was terribly long. I had to run all that long distance to reach gate. After passing thru security checks, etc. I was completely exhausted. All that trouble to be dropped from plane on the runway and then using bus to reach terminal building and vice versa for the onward flight TK 33, was a terrible experience. The layover time and the lengthy and tiring procedure need immediate revision and rectification. Instead of comfort, passengers get high blood pressure and exhaustion. Very troublesome experience."

Khuyết điểm: "There was no food offered for this 80 minute flight, and the only drink offered was a choice between cold water and s Coke-like soft drink. I get a wheelchair assist (elderly woman with some mobility issues). The service person who brought me to the gate never showed up again to help with the boarding. Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

Some passengers complained about being hot, but flight attendant only pointed out the overhead gasper vents, which were obviously open but did little to help the sweating and general discomfort. No personal entertainment system, only drop down screens. Food was average."
