Hotel whala!fun

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice pool and bar on the roof. Lovely view from the pool area

Room and bathroom were too small . Hardly any room to get into bed. Had to pull bed off the wall. Wardrobe was too small for 2 people.

Breakfast was super. Only criticism was the quality of the coffee. Broad range of food. Hot was hot, and selection was good. Also the dining room and terrace were very comfortable. Good time range also, 8 to 11.

Lifts were very slow. Brochure in the room said rooftop pool opened at 10 am in one language and 11 in another. On the day we chose to use it, it did not open until 11.16 am. Queuing on the stairs. On checkout day keys stopped working at 11am locking us out of our room. If we had not discovered this early it could have delayed our departure planned for 11.50.

Roof Top Pool Area and view

Our view was of slym flats accross the road. Promised a room with a view from their messaging. On booking in the receptionist said xome back in the morning and you can change your room. That receptionist was lovely and helpful, Receptionist the next morning was the total opposite. Cut off mid sentance I was told " you can't change your room, all rooms havethe same view".....
