Safarnama Varanasi

Love this place! Comfortable, very clean rooms in a back street haven in this busy, sacred, exotic place. Staff are attentive and friendly. Breakfast is great and takeaway from near by is a great stay in alternative. Decor is contemporary and relaxing. We chose to relax here after much travelling. Close to everything. Not reachable by car but they send a staff member to meet you at a nearby intersection to carry bags and escort you to this great little hotel and out when you depart. Highly recommended.

Excellent property in the heart of Godowlia close to all important temples and attractions in Varanasi. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was authentic North Indian delicacies made to our order. Even though little walk is required from main road staff was assisting in carrying our luggage which was a nice gesture from Safarnama. I will definitely return during my next visit as well. Suggested for families opting to stay near most happening places around Varanasi ghats.

Not a single thing I can remember during our stay.

Excellent simple hot breakfast. Room is clean and neat. Excellent staff. The water is hot. Place is very close to the ghats, and is safe and secure. The front desk is helpful. WiFi is pretty good.

The facility should take some interest in keeping the path clean from the Chatram at the start of the street up until the property. Any animal droppings leave a bad impression. The guides need better training.
