AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky Copenhagen

Great for work as i was next door to the exhibition centre. Not so close if you want to go into copehagen city centre. 20 minute train and bit of walking. But the hotel was amzing. Amazing views also from the 19th floor where my room was.

Stay in Marriott Bella Sky Hotel has been the highlight of my stay in Copenhagen. The city is beautiful and you quickly learn that Copenhagen houses one of the most beautiful modern buildings in the world. The hotel is definitely one of them. If you're lucky enough to get a room in higher floors, you will be hosted with one of the most beautiful views in the city. Even the south view (where you can see the sea, the airport and the southern edge of the city) is stunning. The rooms are very cozy. The beds are super comfortable. You can easily connect double beds into a single bed without worrying the beds will slide and depart. The bathrooms have floor heating and spending time there during winter days brings a lot of joy! The room has a water heater and a few complementary coffees and teas. Elevators are never too busy and are quite fast - but not ear-popping fast. The room-service food is very good, but I'd advise staying away from chicken-nuggets. The restaurants at the 1st floor offer good breakfast and dinner options. Lounge bar at the top floor offers stunning views, awesome cocktails and a superb atmosphere for late night hangout with drinks. I'll repeat, the hotel has been the best part of my stay.

I'm not a pedantic person when it comes to hotels, so everything listed here is knit-picking. Copenhagen is very expensive compared to some other European destinations. While the price of one night in this hotel is very acceptable, the room service could be a bit cheaper - specifically the service charge. While bathrooms are superb with their floor heating and wooden design, the overall cleanliness could be better. Specifically, shower-edges are showing (a few) black spots in the corners. The shower water would sometimes randomly be steaming hot then cold the next second. And during winter, high towers of the hotel produce strong winds on the street to the metro. None of the complaints here affected my stay. I am still super satisfied and I might come again soon.
