The fact you're able to stay in a building by Corbusier is so fantastic, plus access to the rooftop was brilliant where you can have a picnic at anytime, with a paddling pool for children.
The staff were most unhelpful and had a terrible attitude. The hotel was not in great condition with the room smelling very strange.

The water view from the restaurant balcony was worth the trip. But staying in this modernist icon was the draw for this architect: Le Corbusier was 70 years ahead of his time in inspiration.
It's an old building, so breakdowns are inevitable. When our WC didn't work, we were switched to another room, losing the sea view we paid extra for. Thank goodness for breakfast with a view!

I had lunch there and it was very good. Staying with the hotel which enabled me to go to the terrace area at anytime. I joined the EN guide tour and it was super nice.
Later I found booking directly with the hotel would save me 10 euros, which didn't sound good to me.

This hotel is a shining example of the era it was built. Intense thought has gone into every detail and the hotel has held to this over the last seven or so decades. Any person interested in design can find a fascinating element or object at every glance and around every corner. I studied this hotel quite a bit during my education and seeing it in person all these years after was almost holy.
