The Oriental Siam Resort

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The resort is beautifully set out, and discretely set back from the hustle of Chiang Mai city. The attention to detail throughout the room and grounds is amazing. The staff are exceptional, nothing is a bother, and all delivered with that famous Thai smile. We went here based on the great reviews it had received on booking.com, and weren't disappointed.

There is nothing I could fault.

The staff was exceptional. Catered to our every need & even entertained our kids. Our driver duing our stay was wonderful.

There was some confusion regarding the booking which put a bit of a damper on the start of the holiday. We had booked 3 bedroom villa but when we got there they had only given us 2 of the rooms in the villa. They said the price was only for 2 rooms even though our reservation confirmed the entire villa & there was no mention of this even when they contacted us to finalize the reservation. You may may want to check your pricing with them. In the end we were given the rooms we booked but we felt bad because the hotel was full so they had to find a room at another guest house for the couple that had booked the other room.

From start to finish our stay with the lovely people at Oriental Siam was utterly enjoyable, relaxing and memorbable.I booked The Oriental Siam Resort based on the reviews I read and this wonderful place we discovered was like stepping into paradise on the edge of Chang Mia. From the rose petal bath that awaited us after a long day out seeing the sites, to the amazing tranquilty you find as you sit on your veranda reading, to the ever friendly staff that greet you from morning til night we could not have asked for more.If you are looking for somewhere to unwind yet still be close enough to the centre of Chang Mai's night market, temples, tourist attractions (Tiger Kingdom, Maesa Elephant Camp) then this is the place to stay.

Not a thing!

The resort was much nicer than I expected, the house was beautiful and surrounded by beautiful trees, plants, small lake. There are places with benches and tables all around the resort. The staff was extraordinary friendly. Wonderful breakfast. All facilities available.
