Absolutely gorgeous place with warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely and very comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Owner does not want you to overpay on tours and purchases. He is so helpful on where to eat, getting around. Dar is in middle of Médina, they can meet you at blue gate to guide you in. W/ traditional breakfast, can provide laundry service.

From the moment we arrived in Fes driving in our rental car, Abdul made our time in Fes so enjoyable. He had a staff member meet us outside the Blue Gate who guided us to a secure parking spot and then helped us with luggage to the hotel. We enjoyed mint tea as we settled into the accommodation. Abdul then showed us a bit of the Medina including a newly refurbished riad that he recently opened. He then showed us a wonderful place to eat in the Medina. The following day he arranged for a tour guide of the Medina. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was so good and filling. Our family of five enjoyed it immensely. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The building was beautifully appointed. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. I highly recommend Dar Hafsa. For westerners- the bathrooms may be something for you to consider. If not having a separate shower stall is bothersome to you, consider his newly refurbished riad. The name of that is Riad Sidrat Fes. Abdul and his daughter will take care of you so well:)

Mohammed was great and very hospitable. A very warm and welcoming stay. I really enjoyed this place and loved staying in the Old City.

There was nothing I really can say I didn't like. Just be aware that it's a bit of a walk from the blue gate (uphill going back). Vendors can be very pushy along the way.

English speaking staff that makes every effort to make your stay enjoyable. Best value!
