Khuyết điểm: First, staff is terrible especially Frontline staff I met when I checked-in. I explained about my concerning about Covid-19 Spreading situation and need to know more about hotel policy or how they manage with guests who are foreigners or tourists but they response me with bad expressions like I annoyed them lol. So bad experience Second, The breakfast line is not worth for cost. there is no variety and the quality is so low. not meet 5-star standard. The seats is nbot enough in peak time. We have to waiting for queue or have to share the table with others. it express the bad management about this hotel. So, Recommend for stay only in the room and look around the place nearby for dining.

Ưu điểm: Amazing view of the river from our room. Beautiful hotel overall. Location was great, and right across from malls and shopping, with a free ferry between hotel and mall.

Khuyết điểm: Bathroom in our room only had blinds that separated it from the sleeping/living area. Wish there was glass or an actual wall there instead.

Khuyết điểm: Very poorly designed payment system. I bought 2 rooms for a total of 673 euros for three nights. On the spot, they took deposit € 958.81. And at the check-out required € 673 again and I am still waiting for the deposit of 958.81 to be released. It is not accetable ,that they hold twice as much money,that you have to pay! Rooms need refreshing.

Ưu điểm: Fantastic pool areas, we had the access to both pools. Room with balcony in Krunthep building was spacy, clean , well equipped and the view from 15th floor was phenomenal. Breakfast absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend to take the afternoon tea & coctails & canape option. Staff very helpful and friendly. We certainly will come back.

Ưu điểm: Having opted for the Krungthep Wing, we had high hopes for a great stay, and we were not disappointed at any stage. The Lounge where breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails are served in a fantastic experience, and a credit to the hotel and the staff working there. If staying at the Shangri-La, I'd recommend paying that bit extra to be in this part of the hotel, with lounge access. The pool is superb, a great size and ideal water temperature, and the pool/garden area to the left is an ideal place to be around 5pm, to catch the last of the sunshine, before heading in for a cocktail. The rooms are traditional, rather than super trendy, but that's a good thing overall, and has a true 5 star feel. The location was an huge bonus, as it's not only situated right on the riverfront, with fantastic views up the river, it also has a boat stop and train station within 2 minutes. The hop on hop off boat (approx £4 to ride all day) and the Skytrain (approx £3.30 to ride all day) is 100% the best way to explore Bangkok. They get you to all the main places, and you needn't worry about traffic.

Khuyết điểm: Nothing of significance. If being picky, having a spare socket at each bedside would be good in this world of wishing to have phones charging etc, but it was the most minor of minor inconveniences.

Khuyết điểm: Dinner on 81st floor meant to stay open until 2200 but at 2130 most food run out or dried and unappealing. When attempted to go to another restaurant on different floor was told it was closed, but had been told earlier in the day they were all open, so just check when you book in. Had horrid sandwich on the Bar level only to find coffee lounge on 18th floor was lovely and open until late!!

Khuyết điểm: English has poor english knowledge. Housekeeping was poor. Service desk was poor. Had members of hotel enter property whilst i was in bed and they apologised twice this happened. I also left a do not disturb on the door only to find housekeeping cleaning the room. I felt no sense of privacy.

Ưu điểm: Breakfast, cleanliness of the room, location, dinner, massage, swimming pool, all of the services and facilities were exceptional! The people in the cafeteria, on the entrance and exits of elevators as well as in the concierge are all amazing, friendly and cheerful. They don't get tired of welcoming you with their warm smile and open arms. They are, for sure, the main sources of our comfort in addition to the fabulous nature of Baiyoke sky design.

Khuyết điểm: Wi-Fi. To be honest, I only used it the first day i checked in although i stayed there for 4 nights & 5 days. Although i talked to receptionists, there was not much they did about it. But i did not feel anything about it because i even did not get enough time to sit and use the Wi-Fi. I was busy chasing the mesmerizing beauty of Baiyoke Sky and Bangkok. Calling reception by pressing 1 from the room. You would be referred to another person and then another, while in the meantime your call would be hang off for unknown reason and you have to call again if you have the gut OR stay calm with your issue. The receptionists tell you to go the Manager if you ask them something beyond their reach. You have to go, search and find the Manager than him/her coming to you. I believe the manager should come to me as well paying customer when i have any issue that demands his/her intervention than i going to him/her. After all, i am paying the hotel for its hospitality.

Ưu điểm: The staff were friendly and accommodating and provided good information when needed. The location is great, and if you stay you get to go to the observation deck for free which was great! Great views were seen; I love Bangkok and its' night lights so that was definitely a highlight for me.

Khuyết điểm: The place was very very busy so it was slightly hard to relax, and the room was slightly dated. It was difficult to access with public transport, so I shall keep that in mind next time.

Khuyết điểm: The hotel needs refurbishment, the rooms are dirty not cleaned properly. We had mould around our shower and toilet. The workers do not clean the room properly, I would rate this hotel 3 to 4 star. The breakfast quality is very poor, serving poor quality food. We travel twice every year and always stay at 5 star hotels, this is the WORSE HOTEL we have stayed at. My advice would be pay extra money and stay at a better hotel.

Ưu điểm: the first night we stayed in a delux room, and the airconditioning was very lousy, so we complained to the reception. The reception staff was helpful to upgrade our room to a junior suite. Moreover, we asked the concierge for the directions and spots of interest, and they were so helpful and willing to help. A plus staff!

Ưu điểm: The breakfast. It was excellent. The room was spacious and quiet. The staff on the Executive floor were wonderful. Friendly and helpful.

Khuyết điểm: We got one little bar of soap on arrival and used it but it was not replenished for our 6 day stay. When we checked out we were made to pay for mini bar items that we had NOT used. As we had paid extra to use the Executive lounge for afternoon tea and evening cocktails plus 2 bottles of free water each day there was no need for us to use the minibar. When we disputed this bill on checkout we were ignored. It spoilt the whole stay and left us very distrustful of ever using this hotel chain again. We have never been cheated this way at our stays at Hilton hotels not Novotel or any other chain. A manager should have been called to resolve the issue and housekeeping investigated.

Khuyết điểm: smell of cigarette, I've got 16th floor and it was non smoking floor but the smell of the smoke of cigarette is very strong, I've told the staff and they move me to other room in the same floor, first it was fine but the day after the smell of cigarette is very strong, and I've told the staff and they moved us to 18th floor. the point is, don't be afraid to tell the guess if the floor is a non smoking floor and always do the checking because it is very bad for guess with family especially children

Ưu điểm: I liked that it was in an interesting location next to a river. The hotel room offered several amenities. A full kitchen with a large fridge, stovetop, and microwave oven. The housekeeping staff did a great job.

Khuyết điểm: The smell of the hotel needs some serious improvement. I shared with the manager that the strong chemical smell of their cleaning products is very off putting as you enter into the hotel. The food at the River Barge breakfast buffet is sub par.

We generally travel 7 months of the year and have stayed in some amazing places around the world This is by far from our first visit to Thailand or indeed our first visit to Bangkok, but somehow we have missed booking this hotel. All I can say is it is a Stunning building on the riverside with a 5 star service from getting out the taxi at concierge to leaving 3 days later. It’s the only place to stay when visiting Bangkok. A true 5 star experience and looking forward to my return on the 14th March. If you looking at staying in Bangkok book and your looking for quality then this hotel for you, book it you won’t be disappointed

Khuyết điểm: Impossible to book a taxi in advance, Taxi could take a long time to arrive on the spot. Doormens speaks to drivers to give direction but dont give any price indication or request the taxi driver to put the meter. This is not acceptable for a luxury hotel and supposed to be a must have. I should precise here that we complained to a manager and this didnt change.

Ưu điểm: Wonderful, absolutely accommodating staff. I exchanged several emails with Farah, the hotel manager prior to my arrival. Very genuine! Also after being stabbed in Hong Kong, they allowed my partner, who made it to Bangkok before me, to check-in and stay the night without the room having been paid for! Incredible. Our 1 bedroom sir was on the 31st floor with fabulous views of the city. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a cocktail at the rooftop bar! Breathtaking views. Further, when we decided to extended our stay, they effortlessly arranged that we keep or same room and even provided rose petals arranged in the bed. Excellent staff. If it travels included Bangkok again, we Will absolutely be staying here again!

Ưu điểm: Had a very positive experience at this hotel. It is a true 5-star property. From the facilities floor to the actual room, everything here feels very high end and there is a seemingly infinite amount of beautiful views of the city to be had. Especially, the pool and tennis courts are incredibly beautiful around sunrise and sunset, with a stunning vista of the city around the property. Everyone is quite helpful as well. As I was leaving, I wanted to take some pictures of a made up room and the staff kindly showed me to an unoccupied one so I could document it for sharing here and elsewhere. The lady that came with me, Bill, was very kind. Will most certainly return on my next trip to Bangkok.

Khuyết điểm: Had a bit of an issue at check in, but all was resolved after a few minutes. Also with that, sports-wise, they were able to help me find a tennis hitter/coach while I was there. But those are really the only things for my whole stay which was, overall, so positive!

Ưu điểm: The hotel is very beautiful, rooms are big and luxurious with a balcony that gives you a wonderful view on the city! Staff members are lovely and the sky bar is just wow !!

Ưu điểm: I enjoyed the view from the balcony and the convenience of the fine dining atop the Sky Bar restaurant.

Ưu điểm: Felt like a corporate hotel anywhere in the world. No personality.

Ưu điểm: Food was great, Service was great, room was clean with a great view.

Khuyết điểm: Prices are steep but no more then a nice hotel in London
