Khuyết điểm: All food was for sale not included. Good it was not more than a four hour flight and I happened to have kept some thai money since it was a flight out of thailand. Also, this was our connecting flight - one in the middle of three flights going back to LA. For some reason, the gate attendant decided to have issues with my wife's passport, ticket, and greencard. All were valid. We bought the tickets and were in the middle of the flight, so it was late for any questions..... Took them awhile to determine that the greencard was really none of their business since we were flying through china and into the US on another airline. Luckily we were able to get on the plane before it left. Seems like the gate agents need better training on this.

Khuyết điểm: Flight was delayed 20 minutes. Baggage claim delayed another 30 minutes. Made me miss my connecting flight. Then also made me pay. No accommodation on their part. Terrible business.

Ưu: This is want low cost should be. Do the basics right, brand new plane, on time and impeccable crew. That's all I wanted.

Khuyết điểm: No power plug, no English magazine, no phone allowed (even in flight mode) for a 4 hours flight. So “entertainment” deserves 2 star only. As a couple travelling together, we were not seated together, which is very annoying (that was the case for other passengers too) even though a lot of single seats were empty in the plane (crew refused to let us swap places). That’s a 2 star for the crew. Food and beverage is pay only, and was real bad, that is the 1 star for food.

Khuyết điểm: No immigration documents were passed out on the flight from Singapore to BKK causing a bottleneck on arrival. Only one Thai Lion rep. processing entries and passing out docs. Very slow, jepordizing an onward connecting flight.

Khuyết điểm: First of all the flight was delayed, it's OK it happens. What we didn't like was having the boarder time be delayed on top of the delayed flight. Then we we finally arrived at our destination we had to wait for 10 minutes for a second set of busses to arrive. Then once we get into a building we have to walk up a flight of stairs with our suit cases. I was traveling with my 72 year old mother. Not impressed. It's one thing to delay flights it's another to make your passengers go through hoops to get to their destination.

Khuyết điểm: Longest check in ever, even on a Monday afternoon.. you'd better be there long ago.. problem with check in : 1- not enough queues provided, 2- check in personnel is not very efficient, 3- no queuing lines, it's messy lines, 4- operation responsible is just an observer with no operational impact

Khuyết điểm: There was a large group that seemed like a class trio with over 20 children who were loud and rude the entire flight. Parents and flight attendants did not tell them to calm down or act more polite.

Khuyết điểm: Flight was delayed an hour and a half without any information as to why. Major grievance was baggage policy. My wife and I have been traveling Asia for the last 7+ month and taken 35 flights to 10 different countries. This is the ONLY time we were told we needed to check our bags (which are both soft-sided and weight ~7kg). Apparently our small backpacks also counted toward the carry-on limit, which would have been fine if not for the following two contradictions: this was our THIRD flight with VietJet Air (one from Siem Reap to Hanoi, Hanoi to Da Nang, Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh) and we didn't have to check baggage the first two. We also saw at least half a dozen people get on our flight with either bags larger than ours, or carrying three pieces of luggage. Either enforce all the rules for everyone, every time they fly the airline, or not at all.

Khuyết điểm: We arrived 2 hours before flight, long immigration line and made it to counter for boarding passes 40 min early and they wouldn't let us on our flight, or give us a refund. Their next flight (3 hours later) cost double what we paid for our tickets. horrible experience

Ưu: It's very convenient having the whole trip organised by the airline. From boarding at the airport to the bus to the pier and the trip to Koh Tao, all went pretty well. When you consider this is a low-cost airline, it's quite surprising.

Khuyết điểm: Everything else. It is a budget airlines. Don Muang airport is awful compared to BKK. Lines are so long for everything. Even getting food has long lines in hot conditions. It really is necessary to get to the airport a long time in advance. For frequent travelers this is not good.

Khuyết điểm: A seat that did not jolt and move around. Legroom seat on offer for free as no one had them.

Ưu: Doing its job to fly you on time with good schedule. For less than 1 hour flight that's all you need
