For a flight to Japan, I thought $1,000 round trip direct from Boston was an excellent price considering you got 2 complete meals and additional snacks. Much more than I expected. It took them two months - TWO MONTHS - to email me back, to tell me there was nothing they could do. I also had to be reticketed on my flight from Tokyo to Hanoi. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do this. I had to sit in the airport for 3 1/2 hours to get my ticket changed. Unbelievable. They could’ve chiseled it in stone faster than they issued it."

The hostesses were super friendly always offering some sort of beverage, the food was tasty (Be careful not to drop noodles on yourself like I did, those bad boys left a little mark). The video selection wasn't huge, but it was definitely adequate with good titles. Maybe I haven't noticed this before in other airlines, but they had new toothbrushes (packaged, not someone's forgotten toothbrush) in the restroom so the poor sap next to me didn't have to smell my stinky breath. Finally, they were quick with boarding! They were very punctual and we took off right when we got on, so nice!"

Also, I thought it was my headphones, but it happened on a couple of flights with different headphones, but the audio only comes out of one earphone which was slightly annoying... Khuyết điểm: "Flight from Taipei to Tokyo was delayed and ultimately cancelled because of "mechanical failure". Many passengers on the flight including us had international connections through Tokyo, with only an hour between flights. It was clear we were all going to miss this connection, but in a frantic and haphazard way, the JAL crew's only solution at the gate was just to get us all on the next flight out to Tokyo (I believe via China Air) no matter what our individual final destinations were. They said "from Narita, they will handle all your connections to your final destination." This was a bizarre solution. Why not reroute us individually on other partner airlines, through other countries/cities, from this international airport in Taipei, like airlines usually do? (Also, all of this disorganized communication by the JAL crew at the gate was never translated into English, I just happen to speak a little mandarin and was able to understand what they were directing us to do). My wife was the one who searched for an alternative route on her phone (through HK instead of Tokyo) via their partner airline Cathay pacific and showed it to the JAL rep at the transfer counter, and through a series of radio and phone calls, only then did they say "there might be seats left", but they couldn't book the seats for us there. In order to make the flight, we had to sprint ourselves to a completely different terminal and concourse to another transfer counter to finally book our seats on this Cathay flight. Needless to say, our luggage did not get pulled from JAL in time to make it on the Cathay flights, so we are waiting 2-3 days for them to hopefully be found and sent to us. Overall, I was completely disappointed by the JAL staff, who didn't take responsibility or ownership of the situation, and who's solution to just fly everyone out to Tokyo, no matter our final destination, and to leave us to figure out our connections there was extremely short-sighted and irresponsible, and was a total disservice to their customers. I expect much more from this airline. On another note, we flew JAL from Boston to Tokyo, and Tokyo to Taipei: the food was terrible and food options were really subpar for an international flight, I would've expected much better from JAL and the dreamliner flight."

Ưu: "Don't cheap out on your flights to Japan because this ANA flight from New York/JFK to Haneda was the correct way to go. Japanese-style hospitality, respect and quality of service (which is beyond the heavens) shows from check-in to landing (and even post-landing.) The in-flight meals, inspired by Japanese recipes of the Japanese destination or origin, were finely made - that goes even for Economy Class. When there was a delay that was ultimately out of their control, they made things right with post-landing arrangements. Never take any other country's airline when flying into Japan - always always ALWAYS take ANA whenever you can. (Avoid codeshares, too!!)"

The crew worked with great pains within a difficult situation. The flight was delayed by an hour, full flight had dirty lavatories without water from the get go! One of the middle lavatories could not lock! This plane should have been better serviced by ground crew before it departed Doha! Infotainment system is confusing, keep it simple and add more up to date movies. Even then, I will still fly QR over all else."

This was not done on the flight into Dubai. Also irritating was when I got to Boston, an Emirates guy cut open the packing envelope open and in the process, accidentally sliced the camera neck strap. He was, however, very apologetic and eagerly got me the info needed to submit a claim to Emirates."

Khuyết điểm: "There was a group of teenagers sitting in 8 seats in two of the middle rows right next to me. They spent the whole flight climbing all over the seats and each other. They were very loud, often banging into other passenger's seats, and leaving their stuff in the aisle where people were tripping over things as they walked by. They were really inconsiderate of other passengers - many of whom were trying to sleep on a 13-hour flight. It would have been nice if the crew would have told them to be quieter and more respectful of other passengers."

When the passenger stated she cannot go without help, the flight attendant helped her out and to a bus. She almost fell while getting on to the bus. Assistance was requested because of her poor eye sight on the left eye and issues with mobility because of that. Although I'm glad nothing bad happened, denial of assistance and making her feel concerned and speak for herself for someone to help could have been avoided if Emirates could keep their promised support. Very disappointed."

The person printed the wrong boarding passes because they didn't know many details about domestic and international flights. There was also confusion about checking in the luggage between the domestic and international flights. A boarding pass from Dubai to Ahembadvad was not given at the New York airport."

Airport is TERRIBLE in terms of going from gate to gate- loong walks with no moving walkways. Train is a joke covering very short distance. Once arrived in Boston, took 1hr before luggage started unloading, and then to find out our 4 bags didn't come at all. Staff on ground not courteous, wouldn't send bags to home town in Raleigh. Had to wait till afternoon to get the bags and then fly to final destination. Entertainment system very bad, audio/video stop and go, stop and go- really terrible (though notice some people's screens were working fine)."

JetBlue does not recognize what my status is with Emirates, the layover was long without a lounge, you can not select your seat on Jet Blue through Emirates (this is a huge irritation!), you can't check in online through Emirates for the Jet Blue return trip, and the seat selection for Jet Blue was awful."

I liked how they took care of giving things to the children to play with or color before taking off. Some of the flight attendants were engaging and smiled, most of them though didn't look happy to be working. I understand how long the flight is but while at work one must always keep smiling and be professional."
Khuyết điểm: "Bathroom was dirty, out of paper, I cleaned the paper all around the sink, etc. There was garbage on the floors in the hallway that staff walked over. A few of the crew were excellent, others never smiled, just were in their own world, garbage was not picked up often enough. Perhaps someone could come with a garbage bag and instead of zooming by and missing half the people who have garbage actually take a moment to look at each person in the row to see if they have stuff to contribute to the trash bag. On two occasions I had my hands full and the girl walked right by me. The pizza that was served was cold and not very tasty. I am sure if it was hot it would have ben much better."

The first ground crew member I asked was abrupt and sent me to the back of the long line. I caught the attention of a different crew member and he motioned me to the front of the line--it was a little awkward saying "excuse me" to each person that I passed. (I am not used to being a priority passenger!) Once my documents were cleared and my carry-on was inspected at the gate, it was not clear whether to take a seat or to go somewhere else."

The business-class cabin was only about 40% occupied, and yet the crew seemed unable to provide quick service. As I say, this is not normally the case, but it was a little disappointing."

Sit down to stares. Without doing anything So begins the ogling Not for beauty or glasses But because of his right to look in any direction he pleases. The drink cart comes by Soft drinks only Stuttered English behind Only a sweet belch of coca cola Released, bubbling an unfettered expression shared across all languages. (but do they share my disgust?) Oh to fly, to find a cab to drive in the big city."

There were many babies and small kids, so the noise level was high. Not ideal if you want to get some sleep on the flight."

I know it is the challenge difficult to solve however you can give them some advise. Find a private space to talk with sick people because some people might not be comfortable to talk in front of every one."

Khuyết điểm: "I understand that an airline can’t control the weather, but they can be prepared for it. We arrived hours late and found chaos. Conflicting information from staff. Lines lasting HOURS, verging on mob behavior, some passengers shouting and crying. One very good agent got us into civilized lines, but it was still awful. Later that night, we found our second flight HAD taken off, despite every single airline and airport staffer insisting that all flights were cancelled. We could have been home for New Year’s Eve instead of stuck in an airport. The next day, we still got mixed signals about how to check in. Then we found we had been given seats rows apart, despite being one booking. To be honest, we haven’t even taken this flight yet. Our rebooked flight on the following day is hours late and we’re waiting for it now. But I already know enough to post that I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

It’s like ANA run by native New Yorkers - newish planes, really good food (including chefs running around in white uniforms with the tall hats!), solid in-flight entertainment, and no nickel-and-diming on drinks, but the staff can be cold. I would definitely fly again, especially if the alternatives are United or American."
Khuyết điểm: "Turkish Airlines' hub airport, Ataturk International in Istanbul, is a chaotic, surly mess. Part of this relates to the fact that it is simply too small for the volume of traffic it handles, but I also believe airport management deserves some blame. Problems include: * Most arriving Turkish Airlines flights empty out on the tarmac, and then you are bussed to the terminal, adding at least 20 minutes to the process. Some departing flights to North America also require bussing from a distant gate. * Rescreening is inconsistent - once it was some guy standing by a door giving a cursory glance to passports of transfer passengers. Another time, hundreds of people going through a full laptops-out-of-bags-take-off-your-belts xray procedure. * Signage is terrible. Arrows pointing where to go are insufficient (such as exiting the international terminal from the transfer area) and most gates do not automatically show the next flight scheduled to depart. * Gates are shown on the main displays only 2 hours in advance max, and even then seem to change — I saw several people miss their flights for this reason. * Not enough toilets in the terminal and lounges. * Airport staff and concessions workers are surly. I would like to stress that Turkish Airlines (the dominant carrier at Ataturk) is actually pretty good when it comes to the flights themselves. But the airport experience really brings down the brand, in my opinion. My advice to those who have a long layover: Spend $25-$40 dollars to hang out in one of the paid lounges, which have more space, free food, Wi-Fi, etc. You need an oasis in a place like Ataturk."

Please keep in mind that the best flight experience for your passengers involves no babies on a plane, and work towards this goal. Especially 10 hour flights. The food and drink on Turkish Air are usually excellent. We had one meal that was only rice and peppers.. I was unusually disappointed."

Ưu: "I slept through much of the flight. Probably the only way I could have survived this flight without getting abgry. Boarding was more organized than previous flight."
Khuyết điểm: "The crew was unbelievably rude. They were rude and racist.Differential treatment for Indian and other passengers (read white people) was meted and was very obvious. The crew seemed to be serving just white people. There was an attitude problem with almost all the staff. The crew needs an urgent lesson in hospitality. Food: Our menu options were some chicken and beef items. The crew served me some food without telling me what it was. As I was about to eat I realized that i was about to eat beef. I am a Hindu, I don't eat beef. I wasn't upset the crew served me beef. I am upset with what happened next. When I called her back to tell her I don't eat beef her response was "We don't have anything else " and she moved on. She never offered/served anything else. Not even a sandwich. And I was left hungry for the rest of my 10 hour flight. The 2nd meal that was served was vegetarian I assume buy I wasn't sure because the crew never told me. For most parts I was not offered anything to drink and I had to ask the crew for drinks. I travel internationally from the US every month. I go to India at least 4 times a year. However I have never been this badly treated by any airlines.Turkish airlines staff are racist which is really insane considering they are running international flights. If you don't want to serve Indians and other non-whites you should not operate out of these countries. We have plenty of other options. This was my first time travelling Turkish Airlines and there is no doubt in my mind that it will be the last."

Ưu: "Great service and food. We were able to spread out and relax since there were empty seats nearby on return flight."
Khuyết điểm: "The length of layovers - we had a 5 hour wait in Istanbul before the connection to Rome. The wait area was very uncomfortable and chaotic - so no way to relax after an overnight flight from USA."

Khuyết điểm: "I ORDERED A WHEEL CHAIR FOR MOTHER. THERE WAS NO WHEEL CHAIR. I HAD TO GO TO SOS OFFICE A LONG DISTANCE AWAY TO GET HELP."

Khuyết điểm: "Seat Size-width TV Touch Screen is hard to punch Seat Room- Forward-Backward"
