Luckily the people in seats 32F & 32G were kind enough to let me in and out (I got out mostly while the lady in seat 32F was getting out of her seat.) Mostly the other experiences were good overall."

For the economy class, this is the best legs room I ever have compare to other airlines.
Excellent staff , helpfully agents...crew is efficient and food is good and plentiful servings , decent coach leg room. 777 remains 3-3-3 which is nice ....just entertainment choices are limited and not very interesting with limited movie or music choices
Our connecting flight was cancelled, then our luggages were loaded onto a different flight that came in after the day of our arrival at Philadelphia. We arranged that we would pick-up rhe luggages from the airport, but AA delivered them instead. So we got our luggages at the end of the day already.
Highly efficient and great service
JAL is a good flight to visit Far East, especially Thailand for a discounted fares:-)
Japan Airlines should have done better incorporated with other codeshare airlines (JetBlue) to make sure our reservation doesn’t get mess up and that’s one of the reason why we stayed in Newyork for the whole day to wait for the next flight. Could have been much better experience but it wasn’t and worse. My flight got delayed in Newyork causing us to miss out our flight on the outbound from Narita to Vietnam. On the way back, the agent from JP airlines messed up our reservation and separate our name into 2 different reservations making us running around to figure out how to get the boarding pass for my partner which is ridiculous.

I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

I flew Chicago to Tokyo in JAL and then from Tokyo to Manila again on JAL. The service on first leg was very good and friendly of my JAL flights, food was good, seat was comfortable. Then on my second flight from Tokyo to Manila I was shocked but thrilled that I had been given an upgrade to first class. The whole experience was outstanding! The seat was incredibly comfortable and the food was phenomenal. The only problem, not that you could call it a problem, was that I was so comfortable with my fluffy pillow and fully reclining seat that I couldn’t stay awake to finish my movie! Thank you!"

The screens with arrivals and departures posted that Checkin was open but there was no JAL staff to answer questions. Then getting an update “maybe” the 00:10 flight is cancelled? What is maybe cancelled and JALs phone messege still said the flight would depart at 00:10. So I go back to JFK because after all “maybe” isnt a definitive and according to all the direct JAL sources the flight is suppose to depart, I get to JFK the second time only to be given a printout saying the flight is cancelled with no rebooking, and to call for assistance. The same number is been calling for hours trying to get answers. coukdnt reschedules because I’m calling outside of business hours! I spent $200 on cab rides going back and forth to JFK to go nowhere, get no apology, no new flight booking, and no reimbursement for transportation."

Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline..."

Ưu: "This was my first time flying ANA (LAX to Haneda and back) and I have to admit it was surprisingly great. I am a pretty tall guy and found the room for my feet in economy to be more than adequate even though i found myself in a middle seat both flights. The flight attendants were extremely attentive, even as my flights were both overnight/red-eyes. The selection of movies available at each seat was pretty good and included your standard Hollywood stuff along with a decent selection of Japanese film, television, and various documentaries. Whether or not subtitles are available for non-Japanese speakers for Japanese language media was kind of hit and miss (I actually did browse around quite a bit), but I was impressed nonetheless. I would warn some western based travelers that they may not find the food to be all that appetizing. I chose the Japanese style option both flights (rice, miso, salad, fish), however I know that had I had any of my family members along for the flight they would have gone with the international option and they probably wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much."

I believe the flight attendant knew of my concerns because she started asking me if the service was ok. If your doing a good job, then you won’t have to ask."

Khuyết điểm: "My flight was delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight in Singapore. There was a huge queue of people who missed their connecting flight cos of an accident in the runway. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."
Ưu: "The plane had decent leg room, the food was great, service was excellent. I have no complaints. Snacks were handed out pretty regularly which was great. In flight entertainment was good too. I'll definitely fly Singapore again, I liked it better than other Asian airlines."
Ưu: "My wife and I flew from Los Angeles to Seoul. The entire experience was incredible. From check in to disembarking, we were well taken care of. Gracious service and complimentary drinks throughout the flight with a full spectrum entertainment system!"

Drinks were served and offered throughout the flight. Socks and toothbrush also given. Entertainment was great with a good mix of movies. Chairs were comfy and leg space was ok."

Ưu: "The attendants were helpful, smiling and friendly. The entire time We flew with an 18 month old and they came looking for us before he flight to help us carry our stuff on board. They gave her a toy, asked for her name, and checked on us often. They also gave my husband and I an option for early food service so that one of us could help our daughter eat. The movie selection was great. Take off, flight and landing were smooth. And we arrive half an hour early both directions!"

I got an aisle seat to have a little extra room (I'm 6'1") only to get hit big time by the food cart (they did apologize). The food was plentiful, but mediocre at best. The flight attendants were working hard, but we're abrupt and tired. Overall, I have three stars, when in the past, flying SA was always a five star experience. It got me back home though. :)"

My wife and I went to the back of the plane a couple of times to retrieve our own water. You couldn't depend on asking them for water either, as on two occasions they completely forgot about us. Very frustrating experience."

They just sneak and cut you off without saying excuse me, sorry, or simple letting me know they're passing through. I don't mind but I was afraid that I would crash into them and injure either of us."

Ưu: "The screen that everyone has in front of them is large and has a lot of entertainment options. Lots of leg room! I had an economy ticket and was pleasantly surprised by how much leg room you get. I appreciated the warm blanket, pillow, and slippers. There are eye masks and toothbrushes available in the restrooms."
Khuyết điểm: "The food was OK, it wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't anything amazing. The staff was attentive and professional, but I don't know if it was just me, they seemed a bit "cold". No warm smiles. It's a small issue because they did a great job, no complaints with that."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight was cancelled. Eva did not send an additional plane. They excepts hundreds of people to go on standby waitlists for their one flight a day option to Taipei. All of which were full flights. They did not provide food vouchers or hotel vouchers. We were told to leave the airport and come back tomorrow with no solution. We had to rush the office and force them to get us on on other airlines to finally get home. If that didn't happen we would have been stuck in the airport for 5 days."

Khuyết điểm: "Sat in the front row by the emergency doors. One would think the more legroom was better but the tray table comes out of the armrest, which means the armrest can't be lifted. Also the tv sits very low and you end up looking down at it instead of straight ahead. If, like me, you like to be near a window or at least be able to sneak a peek out of someone else's this spot isn't good. There isn't a convenient window anywhere near."
