Ưu: "This flight was part of a longer trip - I flew from Hartford, CT, USA on a different airline and connected to Japan Airlines in Chicago. I flew Chicago to Tokyo in JAL and then from Tokyo to Manila again on JAL. The service on first leg was very good and friendly of my JAL flights, food was good, seat was comfortable. Then on my second flight from Tokyo to Manila I was shocked but thrilled that I had been given an upgrade to first class. The whole experience was outstanding! The seat was incredibly comfortable and the food was phenomenal. The only problem, not that you could call it a problem, was that I was so comfortable with my fluffy pillow and fully reclining seat that I couldn’t stay awake to finish my movie! Thank you!"

"Check-in was a nightmare. At least half the self-serve kiosks were out of printer paper so were out of service. It was chaos. No one was directing traffic, so you had to hope you were in the right line. We finally got to a kiosk and checked in, and printed one bag tag for checked baggage. We were in line to drop off the checked bag, and the lady working that station just walked away and didn’t come back. After we waited a bit, another person in line went to ask at the nearby counter if the bag check person was coming back, and she wasn’t, so we had to find a new line and wait all over again. Once we got our bag dropped off and our tickets, the rest was easy. The security line went quickly, and the terminal was clean and nice. Our flight was great and the flight crew was excellent. I think if someone had kept up with the kiosk printers, a lot of the check-in headaches and stress would have been solved."

I understand that things happen, but most of the problems today seem to have been preventable. First, our plane in Lihue was delayed for over 3 hours because they could not get a working fuel truck to fill the plane. Three hours? This caused us to miss our connection in LA, although just barely. We had to wait onboard so that we could use the same gate that our outgoing plane was departing from. If we had just been sent to a different gate we. Oils have made our original flight. So, they put us on a flight to Chicago because there were no more flights to Minneapolis. Then, once in Chicago the incoming plane was delayed and we sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes before deplaning. Then after an hour delay we were told the crew was on the ground and we were boarded. Sat in the plane for another hour, then we’re told we were still waiting for crew members that were delayed so we deplaned again. Another 90 minutes past and we got back on the plane and sat for another 45 minutes. We are finally pulling away from the gate. Hallelujah!"

Khuyết điểm: "Was told carry on needed to be checked because there wasn't any more overhead room for my 9X14X16. So then I had to dig through it at the gate to remove lithium batteries and it took an additional 20+ minutes at MSP to get to baggage claim/wait/claim bag. There was plenty of room in overhead storage for my bag."

Khuyết điểm: "Seats are very small. Boarding process could be improved. Seems some people board out of sequence and it screws up the process of stowing luggage and getting to your assigned seat. These same people bring in large over sized bags that will not fit in the above compartment or underneath the seat. Charging these individuals for these violations would deter them from engaging in this behavior. You might also want to add to your instructions how to disembark the plane, some individuals think their schedule is more important and rush up the isle in front of others who are trying to get their carry on luggage from the overhead compartment. Losers!!"

We were then informed that one flight attendant had not made to the flight and we were to wait until the flight attendant arrived. We waited over 20 minutes for the employee to arrive to work rather late. This put out over 200 people for one irresponsible employee. In my business that employee would of been fired unless there was a very serious reason. So a full plane of passengers were inconvienced as well as many people that were helping the passengers what maybe 300 + for one employee! Doesn't make sense!"

Ưu: "I really like having the ability to upgrade to a more roomy seat the most. I am 6 foot 1in and leg room is so very important to me when i fly, it the difference between a good experience and a great experience. For just a few more dollars i was able to enjoy a great flight."

Ưu: "Again the wheel chair attendant was helpful, patient and considering we were not feeling well, assisted us at customs. We are seasoned travelers and this is not usually how our travels usually go. We appreciated the wheelchair services, the flight attendants."

Khuyết điểm: "After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

And the hosts looked less than pleased and just handed us paper towels to clean it up. Just not very friendly."

Note: this was an international flight(8hrs). Small seats and no in-flight movie. There was a flight delay due to weather (40 mins) on the way home. I get it. On the way to our destination there was a 4 hour delay due to a problem at the airport. Though frustrating, probably not air canada’s Fault."

Khuyết điểm: "weather grounded non stop flight... required my finding a hotel for overnight... loss of MSP hotel, and two days rental car, too... costly and not reimbursable because "act of nature"... earliest way to MSP they said was via Nashville w/long layover... then connecting to Delta upon arrival in MSP, checked bag didn't arrive... it was filled w/medical equipment and AC couldn't tell us where it was... Delta bent over backwards to assist... AC was non-commital and not helpful at all... waited for incoming flights at the airport MSP for 8 hours... no bag... finally, Delta gave us vouchers for dinner and put us in a hotel... when it as really Air Canada's fault... etc, etc..."

Ưu: "All was well, except for an hour delay in departure. Air Canada Rouge doesn't have any in-flight entertainment except for having to have a tablet or smartphone and having to download their App in order to watch something. Otherwise, you can attempt sleeping or reading or something else."

Khuyết điểm: "Air Canada Rouge should be renamed Air Canada Rude. Employees are very un-friendly; Seat design on the plane is the most uncomfortable of any airline out there. Very close to each other and very little padding on cushion of seat. Dirty plane; don’t think they serviced it between flights, garbage in each seat pouch. Very cold on flight, crew did not regulate the climate control. Too many unnecessary announcements both in English then French. Each announcement seemed like it lasted about 10 minutes which no one listen. So much for trying to watch a movie that pauses every time the crew feels the needs to talk. Sat at gate for 30 minutes pass departure time without any explanation until right before we departed (waiting on passengers from late arriving flights). At lease they could have told us. Anyhow this is not the Air Canada of old. Air Canada Rouge shows no signs that they care about the comfort of their passengers."

Khuyết điểm: "Air Canada stopped flying to SLC while we we're on our trip. so it made the connections to other flights after getting to Toronto (from Amsterdam) really tricky and tight on time. While on the flight from Amsterdam, things were great, but that stress of being rerouted was not great..."

I didn't get a reminder check-in email when I was flying out and that worried me a bit that there may be something wrong with my reservation. It also irritated me that because I had booked my flight through Kayak and not Air Canada directly I was not able to make any changes to the reservation online - I had to call their reservation phone number (from another country) and be put on hold for 20 minutes (so needless to say it was an expensive phone call)."

Ưu: "Staff was really friendly, the flight attendant was even wearing a little witch hat for Halloween, which I really liked. Due to an underbooked flight, we had free choice of seat, because I originally was booked on an aisle seat, I could change to a window seat, that was nice. Since it was a small machine from Toronto to Minneapolis (a little more than 1,5h flight), there was no entertainment system, besides the nice view out of the window. And who likes to start a movie during such a short flight, to not be able to finish it? They also ask you to hand in your carry-on before you enter the plane, because there is not enough space for it inside, which I liked, no wiggeling along the aisle with a little trolley, I just fetched it outside the plane after we landed."
Khuyết điểm: "Unfortunately, Air Canada didn't serve gluten-free snacks on any of my flights yet (I had good gluten free food though). This is not meant as a negative review, because as an allergic you're usually prepared. It's more a suggestion for gluten-free snacks, peanuts or m&m's work as well as most gummy bears or chocolates :)"

Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"

Khuyết điểm: "The gate facility at the Toronto airport was worse than a bus terminal. It was over-crowded and chaotic. Again, we boarded through the tarmac and not through a walkway."

Khuyết điểm: "I've never been on a transatlantic flight that didn't offer a drink with dinner. Plus, not having a TV screen for passenger's entertainment is out dated. Time to upgrade these planes, or don't use them for long haul flights"

Khuyết điểm: "Though not in your control, we had a two hour late start. The gate area was crowded with too little seating. It was so far from the main airport area that refreshments were hard to get. The airline did give some snacks but nothing very substantial. Our 8:30 something flight didn't get off until after 10."

We waited through 3 engine replacement tries in the hot Italian summer inside a hot cabin with approximately 150 passengers. Almost an hour later, engine was replaced but damage was done. Many transfer flights had to be rescheduled for later flights. Where was the reimbursement???? Just a million thanks for our patience. Time is money"

Khuyết điểm: "Having to pay extra for a blanket or pillow? That's something I've never heard of. Crew was inattentive as I asked for someone to come by and collect my trash but no one ever came."

Khuyết điểm: "Overly crowded in the are awaiting for flight. It was not organized well and you could tell staff was getting on edge from customers asking about boarding. The departure times should be spread out to avoid this."

Khuyết điểm: "Old tiny plane, delayed two hours because of what seemed like sheer stupidity. I mean we had to wait an extra 30 mins on top of the regular delay time because they loaded the bags wrong. I had already been traveling over 24 hours due to the time zone differences and this last flight was just intolerable. Certainly it could have been worse, but this was just terrible already."

Ưu: "Food was actually pretty good and the staff did reasonably well even though most of the customers were clearly unhappy."
Khuyết điểm: "A majority of flights run by Air Canada to the US were delayed. If this had been due to weather, fine, but at least our delay was caused by mechanical malfunction. Our flight was delayed for 5 hours due to multiple different mechanical issues including that the bathroom would not function during the entire flight, the wing flap had issues and the door would not seal correctly. The flight immediately preceding ours to Minneapolis was also delayed by over 4 hours. Surprisingly the flight before that also had a bathroom malfunction that prevented customers from using the bathroom. If this was the exception we could understand, but looking at the history of our flight, it's only on time 23% of the time. The poor customer service people must hate their lives. Something needs to change."

Khuyết điểm: "The seats are quote awful if you are tall, like myself. I'm 6'3" and 4 hours into my 13 hour flight, I was regretting my decision not to pay the extra $100 for a seat with more leg room. My back hurt for 2-3 days after the flight, and I got up to move around every 3 hours or so."

Ưu: "I appreciated that the airline put us up in a hotel, gave us vouchers for food and bumped us to first class, however not all of us even got on this plane. My wife is on standby while my daughter and her friend go with me at 6:20 AM, my work de is scheduled for 7:45 flight. We’ll see but I’m not holding my breath."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight was more than half empty and instead of allowing customers to move forward to the “premium” seats, the flight crew keep everyone all bunched up in the back of the plane. It would have been a nice customer service gesture to allow people to move forward. And, hey, maybe next time people would have bought those seats if they could have experienced them. Guess I should have felt lucky to remain on the plane and not get punched in the face..."

I have a wedding to go to and needed my small duffle carry on with me and because I got a "basic economy" ticket, this was not possible. Some forewarning of this insanity would have been helpful! Really so annoyed!"

Leave it to United to figure out a way to create a class of customer so low that you envy all the other cattle. MOOOOO!"

Ưu: "I got some unexpected exercise running to three different gates that turned out to be wrong yet UAL sent the entire plane to each gate only to send us back to the initial gate."
Khuyết điểm: "Apparent lack of planning and coordination on part of UAL when confronted with mechanical problem in initial plane."

Ưu: "Didn't crash"
Khuyết điểm: "Booked two seats at same time and they weren't by one another. Plane was not full so asked ticket counter if they find two seats together but did not want last row because seats don't recline. Clerk said those were only seats together so she she said she'd move us to exit row (still separate middle seats). However, seats were not actually exit row and they did not recline. So we simply got moved to separate middle seats in a different, a row that didn't recline."

Khuyết điểm: "Just before takeoff we had to abort and the crew slammed on the brakes. It was entirely frightening. We sat on the runway for a long time after that while the crew did not have clear answers for what was happening or why. Several things happened while we were on that plane that were unnerving for the passengers. So much so that at least one passenger threw up. Very scary. We did end up taking that plane on to our destination two hours later, but it was the worst flight experience of my life."

Luckily, there was a seat left, and both arrived at out destination. Their solution was to move him, even tho we were traveling together."

Khuyết điểm: "There was a very large couple sitting in seat to my right. I'm 6'3 250 so not small. It had a rear bathroom and I had people banging on me the whole flight!!!!!! She could have moved some people around!!!! The worst flight of my life!!!! It's about customer service."

Khuyết điểm: "It was a 3 hr. flight. They gave us no food, just a small bag a snack mix. I asked for tomato juice to drink and I asked if I could keep the can and the flight attendant said NO, because someone else may want tomato juice. UNITED is out on my list of airlines,"

Khuyết điểm: "I did not have an assigned seat upon arrival despite buying the ticket several days in advance. I almost was bumped. VERY FRUSTRATING."

Ưu: "I was so happy to find a cheap one way flight at the last minute. Was able to get my son home for the weekend. Otherwise he would hace had to stay in Chicago for the night. Super easy and efficient."

Ưu: "The crew was very considerate and nice to all passengers."
Khuyết điểm: "It took forever to board and people had to move because the plane was unbalanced. That shouldn't happen in 2016."

Ưu: "First of all, the crew was amazing. I had just been traveling for about 20 hours and I had a seat towards the back of the economy section. After traveling that long, I was getting antsy to be at my destination, and I asked the gate agent if she could bump me to a row towards the front of economy- thankfully the plane wasn't full, and she was able to! It's the little things like that, that are what make me fly United. Also, the cabin crew on the flight was great! Of course, the economy section of the plane wasn't an ideal amount of space, but come on- it was an hour flight, and they did a good job of trying to spread people out so that the rows weren't packed."

Khuyết điểm: "It took over half an hour, for the plane to depart from the runway. In addition, the gate was changed three times without overhead announcements from O'Hare."

Ưu: "It was my grandson's first plane ride. They let us board early because I was managing two carry on suitcases. The flight was smooth and he loved the apple juice. He learned so much by looking out the window and seeing the ground and the clouds."

Ưu: "Crew was attentive. My seat was taken by someone else but crew helped me find another seat. (Which was fine by me). Pilot kept passengers in formed of weather conditions and bumpy ride."

Ưu: "The staff on the plane were very good."
Khuyết điểm: "The flight was oversold which apparently gave the employee at the gate a reason to be rude. Also the plane was freezing. People were pulling out blankets and covering themselves with anything available."

Khuyết điểm: "Flight was delayed because we didn't have a pilot? They did get a pilot quickly though and the flight was shorter than originally stated so we got there about the same time we were originally expecting."

Khuyết điểm: "One of the crew members was very mean towards some people I was sitting near. They were older and didn't realize that once we pushed off you had to remain in your seat and she came and told them they were breaking the law and would be arrested for standing up, in such a nasty tone they didn't say another word the whole flight. When we were offered something to drink they declined. I jumped out of my seat realized I forgot to ask where the bags were placed that were collected on the jet bridge and went back to ask if they were in baggage claim or not and she yelled at me for turning around and told me she could not speak me because I had exited the plane already."
