The bus eventually came, offloaded half the passengers and then returned 20 minutes later to start to offload the rest. It's the longest time I've ever spend disembarking from a plane and clearing an airport - very poor whoever was responsible (I'm assuming Sydney airport was at fault)."

But no checkin counters were open. The first check-ins began 3 hours prior to take off. By that time the line was backed all the way out into the main corridor. It would be MUCH better for ANA and the customer to begin the checkin process 3.5 to 4hours prior instead of 3."

I've been using ANA for my frequent trips between Japan and the states, they are consistent. The in flight food is good. You will get complimentary wine, Haagen Dazs ice cream dessert. Cathay Pacific also serve HD ice cream, but half the size on lunch meal. ANA serve on both meals."
Khuyết điểm: "i could give ANA a 5*, but I think their web site needs work ! their web navigation is kinda confused, a little bit less intuitive. If you are in the US you need to log on to the ANA US site, the JP site is in Japanese and it will not redirect you to US. On line check in can get confused as a lot of time it would not recognize the booking number, you have to use a long 10 digit e-ticket number. My fight from Tokyo to HKG would let me check in and get seat assignment until 24 hours before the scheduled flight. The seat map shows all seat ps were taken without telling what is going on."

Luckily didn’t hurt any people and a Hong Kong lady helped me on this. Besides, One of my luggage was missing, I’m still waiting for them to let me know where my luggage is. This is the first time I took Asiana Airline, according to all those bad experiences, I doubt whether I’ll take Asiana Airline again."

Also the flight attendants spoke only in Korean when walking down the aisles offering coffee, tea, etc. When I fly on other Asian airlines (Singaporean, Japan Airlines, All Nippon) everything is bilingual so it is easy to understand what is being offered or asked."

So I ended up with 5 bags instead of 3. My main issue was comfortability. Due to the person behind me, I couldn’t push my chair back and so I had find different ways to sleep."

The problem was with Hong Kong International Airport. It seems HKIA is experiencing 'traffic jam' very often. It's quite risky for the passenger like me who is expected to have another long journey back home after arriving in HKIA. Should be praying again and again in order to take the AEL and MTR before the service is over around 1 AM."

This is an expected attitude if you fly anywhere with mainland Chinese passengers . If escalated it would result in her screaming and complaining. But it is an Asian airline and I can't control the passenger who choose to fly so I can't complain too much. Still would recommend to friends."

Delay upon arrival as we waited for what must have been 30-45 min for a people transporter to take us to our gate. I was at the back of the plane and I swear it seemed like they only had one bus making the (long) journey back and forth. All told I arrived over two hours late to my destination for reasons that are likely poor business design. Not a great experience."

We were taken at pace by an airport staff member who kept telling us that they were closing the gate so we had to hurry. Excellent service, high quality food options and flight amenities. I really enjoyed the food as did my son. My son left his backpack behind on the first leg and the airline staff retreived it and delivered it to the lounge in less than 15 minutes. I was astounded and had almost given up on seeing the bag again, given my experience with other airlines in the past. This is going to be airline of choice for future trips!"

We were not told about the possibility of our flight being cancelled as we arrived at check-in, we were allowed to check our bags first, issued boarding passes and *then* we were told to come back to check in counter in 3.5-4 hours. Our checked luggage had already been taken and with it, clean clothes, toiletries and other items that could have made the waiting more comfortable. After coffee and a snack we decided to check in to the capsule hotel at Narita. Minimum stay was one night at that hour of the day - for stays after 6pm. While I appreciated that Cathay got us out later that evening, the plane we flew was one of the oldest in the fleet: the seats did not recline at all so it was very uncomfortable. It was a late night flight but no one was offered pillows or blankets. (I did receive one upon request). We arrived in Hong Kong in the early hours of the next morning - 3 hours late - after the airport train had finished running so I paid for a taxi home which I normally would not need to do since I already had a train ticket. so my flight experience did cost me some extra money this trip."
