Excellent accomodations and value for the price. Very helpful and courteous staff. Delicious breakfast.

We knew it would be 15 to 20 minutes walk to most of the sites but we did not mind. Whenever necessary we took a taxi for 10 to 14 euros to places farther away. The hotel and staff themselves were excellent.

Got a very quiet room at the back for 3 nights, out of the way location but worth a little extra walk. lovely room with big bathroom.

It is a fairly new hotel and the building is charming and has most of the trappings of a high end hotel. The shower was excellent and the food at breakfast was good as was the service.

The hotel is somewhat remote from the historical center of the city and located in a more business oriented area which probably puts it at a competitive disadvantage. Piazza del Liberta is a very large and busy circle that is cumbersome to traverse due to traffic and the street layout. We booked in Florence a little late and this was one of the few 4 star hotels still available. While we enjoyed the stay and thought Paola and the other woman that alternated at the front desk were excellent, we might prefer to be closer to the historical sites and restaurants next time.

The staff was very kind and went out of their way to help us out with transportation and reservations. The room was wonderful: spacious, clean, quiet, and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the service excellent. The location was about a fifteen minute walk from the center of town but allowed you to see so much of the city on the way. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
