Hotel Baía Azul

It is perfect place to stay in Funchal! Very clean, comfortable hotel with perfect sea view balcony, surprises. Good breakfast.

Great one night stay, excellent facilities. We eat out so can't comment regarding the evening restaurant choice. Thecocktail bar and breakfast re both very good. Hotel in a good location for restaurants if you're looking for different food options. The reception staff were very accommodating with arrangements for a later check out. Would look to book again if we travel to Madeira again.

Very little not to like really. Snack service in the restaurant was a little slow, but that was a one off I believe.

The hotel is lovely. The bathroom and bedroom were top class. Very modern,and nice and clean with great aircon. The views are stunning. There is underground parking available at additional cost. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Food is constantly replenished. Pool and bar areas very nice with nightly entertainment.

Our rooms were at the very end of the hotel so our view had a side view of the hotel in front of us, and we could not see the pool area. Room 339 and 340. But if you are sea facing in the center the view is amazing.

Very Clean, modern and stylish with great facilities and breakfast included.

If you have a hire car, parking is very tight and limited around the hotel. The hotel will offer the use of their garage at €6/day which is much easier than constantly driving around a one way system hunting for car park spaces.

Everything. It was extremely clean and the facilities excellent. The setting was perfect with lots of restaurants nearby to walk to. Lots of selection for breakfast.

No slippers or dressing gowns and towels quite small. Pool towels not soft and a bit frayed.
