Most Convenient Location
The air conditioning was not working adequately due to unexpected heat wave, apparently. Staff was pleasant and tried their best to find us a room with operable air conditioning
We were first settled into a handicapped room. Warning signs were that there was a portable fan on the bureau (air conditioning not working in that room) - the next room we moved to had guest bottles of water available, where the handicap room didn’t even have a refrigerator in the room.
right next to Glasgow airport. Very convenient for early morning travel.

Location, location, location. Also, very clean with good bedding.
It is rather old. It appears to be well maintained with no wear seen but room format shows its age, such as the tiny bathroom.
The location could not have been better four our 12 hour layover.
It was disappointing to learn that I had to pay extra for breakfast since I booked through Kayak instead of booking directly. There was no price difference if I did book directly.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Bed was soft and comfy. It was also nice and quiet. Excellent location.

Very basic room and bed. Everyplace we stayed in Scotland had free wifi - there is no reason why this isn't available for free at HIG as well. Restaurant was also very expensive. Bring a sandwich. Wake- up call did not occur- a true disappointment and potential disaster.

We have stayed several times , as it it so near the airport.
The kettle in our room was not working this time ,we discovered it too late for ourselves ( due to very early flight), but told reception staff when we left.
Heated towel radiator did not work, kettle in the room did not work either. Could not alter temperature in room

Had to wait until 10pm for my room to be available upon chechking in!!!!!!! Totally unaceptable!!
On arrival the reception staff were friendly informative and efficient.I found the staff in all areas to be open, friendly and welcoming. I was unhappy with my room on the first night. It was very dark, being a corner room, the curtain on one side of the window was hanging off the rail and one of the light bulbs above the desk/dressing table was missing. I complained and was dealt with promptly and efficiently. I was upgraded to an executive room the following day without any fuss and from that point on my stay was most enjoyable.
No, the food was good, the service was excellent the room was excellent and the facilities were the same.
