This is a lovely old hotel with the most helpful and gracious staff you could find. Anything big or little, they will help with which makes foreign travel so much nicer. It is older and there is some evidence of the number of people who have enjoyed it before. The location was close to the bus, the ferry and the airport which was very convenient, but also made it a bit noisy at times, however we got around the city mostly on foot from the hotel so it worked for us. Nikos was particularly helpful for us.

Location perfect,staff friendly and helpful, recommended excellent taverna close by, rooms clean and well maintained breakfast good standard for hotel breakfast. Stayed here a number of times and would now always stay here when in Heraklion.
