The location is fantastic if you have never been to Málaga before. The hotel is attached onto the Málaga-María Zambrano station meaning you can hop on the train from the airport and arrive at your hotel in no time! The hotel itself is stunning and all members of staff we encountered during our trip were outstanding and ALWAYS helpful. A member of staff even surprised me with gifts as it was my birthday during the stay which was incredibly thoughtful. There was lots to do nearby from shopping to awesome local restaurants and easy-to-rent scooters! Málaga Centro can be found 5-10 mins drive away. We used Uber for most of our stay and it was pretty cheap. I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful job they did during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and intend to return again shortly! Hasta pronto Barceló!

Location excellent- located right next door to train station where you can take train to Malaga airport only 3 stops away for under 3 euro, there is also a shopping mall there. The sightseeing bus departs from very close to the front of the hotel. Rooms clean, bathrooms very clean but getting a little tired. Breakfast was superb. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful hotel
We were there during the lockdown. No information given to us regarding any rules in place by the Spanish government and police. Some guidance, a letter through the door In the morning etc would have helped but nothing at all. We left a day early and at checkout they told us police are advising all people to get to the airport, I’m sure if we didn’t ask we would not have been informed. Inform your guests of the rules they have to follow!!

Perfect location for sightseeing or start travelling thru andalusia. Train station, bus terminals and car rentals at the Maria Zambrano Station. Harbour, Cathedral and Alcazaba in walking distance.

Very easy access to airport. Great breakfast and service. Close to waterfront.
Although the shopping in the train station was fine. The reason shopping outside around the hotel. Area around hotel was not very clean.
