Generator Paris

Straightforward dormitory type place.

Comfortable bed without curtains, helpful staff, room clean enough,drawer for the luggage.

No kitchen and no food allowed in common areas, you can only buy from the hostel's restaurant.

Great location, really close to the metro. Fairly new and with lockers to hold your luggage if you need to leave them after your check out.

There was a little confusion with the check in. During my 2 night stay (one of which I spent it elsewhere) two other girls came in the room claiming the bed. One girl showed up in the middle of the night. When I mentioned it to the receptionist she didn’t even apologize. Staff is really young and especially the girl did not care really much about customer service.

Modern, cool hostel close to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur

Generator Paris is new and nice and very clean and has an energetic design. I stayed there with my 17 year old niece and her friend and wanted them to be somewhere fun and full of interesting international people that start in their age range. The food was good and the dining area was a great common area for hanging out.

I wish towels were included in the room and didn’t have to be rented. There should also be soap available even if it’s to purchase. Maybe a vending machine with some toiletries in it?
