Overpriced but sufficient

Staff were friendly. Location good

Room was stuffy and not well aired out. Non smoking rooms had been smoked in. Room was a bit dark and dingey with some broken items such as the bathroom door that wouldnt close. However location was good and staff were friendly. The pool is nice but would benefit from a non smoking area

The breakfast

All services were very good but the location was next to a beer garden. This apparantly had a licence to play loud music until 1:30 am even on a Sunday morning. With a long journey the following day i needed a good nights sleep but with the room vibrating, this was impossible and made even worse when the music finished as some of the hotel guests had obviously been there and continued to laugh loudly until 03:30am.On any holiday, a good nights sleep is of paramount importance and it is for this reason that I would never recommend this hotel to anyone until they can get the music licence cancelled or drastically reduced.

The breakfast was excellent

We found the hotel rather soulless, lacking in warmth and character. The access to the hotel was difficult to find when arriving and there was only one route to Cascais when walking. We found this rather long winded
