Ưu điểm: Pierangela, the owner, was lovely and the building is beautiful. The location was perfect. There was a mini bar in the room and a coffee machine for us to use downstairs. Our room was cleaned daily and stocked up with fresh bathroom linen whenever necessary, which I didn't expect for such an inexpensive hotel. Check in was very easy. All in all a very good experience at an unbeatable price.

Back and forth messaging to arrange an arrival time to then just be told to let myself in with a code to the front door. The room was tiny and you have to leave your luggage in the bathroom. Some furniture was not good shape either (e.g. rusty)

Khuyết điểm: There isn’t any parking. We parked in a square a few minutes walk away which was free on Sunday other the staff from the hotel drive your car to a parking area further away. Also, there’s a very vocal cockerel who lives nearby so if you are a light sleeper this could be a problem.

Ưu điểm: The building is really nice, rooms are well designed and comfortable. Food was also very nice. All the receptionist were super attentive and nice, we got plenty of great advice on what to do and where to eat. Also in the restaurant the waitress and waiters were very kind and friendly.

Khuyết điểm: Our room was in front of the pool and restaurant and was a bit noisy during bed time. Breakfast was high quality but it felt a bit limited (often things were not replenished often). Also the lack of parking is a minus (even if there are options around and valet could support sometimes)

Ưu điểm: Lovely to have both an indoor and outdoor pool. Lovely that my elderly mother had easy access to both these pools. The sauna and steam rooms were lovely too and the gym adequate for my needs. The buffet breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. The receptionist and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. It was 'nice' (despite all the news on Brexit) to have BBC and ITV channels on your TV in our room. The bedroom was spacious and the living area spacious too. The bathroom was well equipped with both a bath and separate shower. The water pressure was very good. WI-FI connection was generally good; although it did go off occasionally. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the beach and marina where restaurants and bars could be found. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel with buses into Ciutadella, the journey takes about 20 minutes.

Khuyết điểm: The corridors are a little dated, possibly clean or change the carpets. The restaurant space wasn't very intimate for an evening meal, blight lights and open plan.

Khuyết điểm: Didn't like that there was no one there to help with our suitcase. I'm 67 and my daughter has poorly hands so this was hard as we were at far end of the building. There was an easier way we found out a few days later but this was not communicated to us when we arrived. It was a struggle for us. I did ask do you have anyone that could help us with our case and not a sharp NO

Ưu điểm: The room was very large and clean. Location was really good, and the hotel was calm. There was information about food allergens at breakfast. The swimming pool was amazong, and the spa was also great. Staff was kind and helpful - I always had gluten free bread prepared when I arrived at breakfast! There was free local parking.

Khuyết điểm: The breakfast had great variety, but quality was not incredible... Toilet facilities such as soap were not replaced, which we were actually expecting. The mattress felt a bit uncomfortable after a few nights. Overall, it was a very nice place, but a bit too expensive for the offer.

Ưu điểm: Great setting, lovely manicured gardens, clean pool and loads of sun beds. We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary here and we were given a lovely bottle of cava. Also got upgraded on arrival to a duplex apartment with a wonderful view. Really appreciate it. Breakfast also amazing choices. Would defo recommend anyone to stay here in this area.

Ưu điểm: Fabulous very well maintained hotel with impeccable grounds and large swimming pool with special area for little ones. No problem getting a sun lounger anytime of the day in August. We were upgraded to a well decorated one bedroom duplex accommodation with 2 terraces , kitchen, 2 sofas and a large bedroom downstairs. Very peaceful and we could sleep in as the 2 thumbs up breakfast buffet was fully replenished until 10:30 am: chocolate pancakes, eggs, omelettes, fruit, vegetables British classics...We had booked half board which was really worth it given the splendid dinner buffet with grilled fish/ meat, local specialties, lots of greens and fruits plus cakes / deserts to Die for! It varied each day so not repetitive and had a special vegetarian corner. Light entertainment almost every evening from 9:30pm. Overall excellent experience for location given that access to 2 local beaches is within 5 mn walk . You can also drive 15 mn to Ciutadella to reach more secluded beaches such as Son Saura, Macarella and Cala Turqueta as we did by tiny buses to book a day ahead at Plaza des Pins in the city center. Otherwise you can drive your car to these beaches if you get to the parking lot before 8 am except for Macarella where no cars are allowed.

Khuyết điểm: The breakfast was rather disappointing. it's self serve within a small area, pastries, meats, fruit etc. Nothing exceptional except the flies. We stayed to dine several evenings. The food was lovely though the menu remained the same.

Khuyết điểm: A little isolated without a car (we came by taxi) with no indication of local country walks that could be made; otherwise very quiet with a lot of local animal life!

Ưu điểm: I was given a triple room (3 beds) and the room was still spacious. Plenty of drawer space bedside unit with accessible plug. Soft decent sizede bath towel. Fridge and safe in room. Clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly. No rip off prices at the small bar, E1 for a pot of tea and about E2 for a glass of wine. Access from the terrace to the cove with beach and flat rocks where there are ladders to easily enable a dip in the sea. Hotel was less than a 10 minute walk into the town square for buses to the surrounding beaches/villages and a little more to the bus for Mahon. Ciutadella is a delightful town

Khuyết điểm: Purely personal but the shower is over a half size bath which is deep to step into. The shower doors give no room to regulate the water before stepping under the shower rose. I arrived at Cala Bona (accross the street) not realising that the reception is in Mar Blava. A note on the locked door of Cala Bona would have been helpful. I might not have been to happy about this hotel if I was given a ground floor room where the window looks onto the terrace which is busy at breakfast and in the evening giving no privacy withour shutters being down.

Ưu điểm: Brilliant position, ability to swim and snorkel from the rocks directly in front of the hotel. It was right on the water front, walking out of the hotel onto the coastal path, also into town centre and harbour.

Ưu điểm: The staff of the hotel were very helpful and friendly. In fact they really made the trip for me, their recommendations about where to eat were spot on. There are stunning views of the sea and unlike so many hotels these days there is no constant background "muzak". Breakfasts taken on the balcony were a luxury. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. I needed more days there!

Ưu điểm: The location was great as it was in easy walking distance of the centre whilst being situated on a narrow sea channel which I swam in. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was fairly spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good.

Ưu điểm: The hotel is excellent, especially for families with kids. It is very organized, clean, has a lot of green areas for the kids to play. The pool is nice and there are a lot of things for kids to play with in the pool and also in the “mini-club”. The beach is only 1min walking distance. It is very relaxed to be at the hotel, the personal is very friendly and the service is very good. The rooms are nice and rapacious. They all have a well-equipped kitchen and a balcony or garden. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and with a lot to choose from. We definitely liked it and recommend it to 100%! :-)

Khuyết điểm: More people for cooking eggs and pancakes in the morning would be better in order not too wait long for them. The soap provided for the kitchen in the room is not of good quality. More activities for adults during the day would be nice (sports, dance, music).

Ưu điểm: The bed was comfy. The bedroom looked as if it had not been touched (decorated) for a good number of years, the same applies to the bathroom. The entire hotel could do with updating with new furniture etc. It could keep the same style but please get rid of old those old chairs and sofas. It certainly does not deserve fove star. Could provide better quality food. Where on earth do they buy their meat from. It was same old thing every day but they changed the name of the dish to make it look like you were getting a new dish. X

Ưu điểm: Breakfast is delicious with so many tasty pastries to sample. The hotel is peaceful and has a beautiful lush garden and a lovely terrace next to the pool. We stayed four nights and ate some meals at the hotel’s restaurant and others in citadella- a 15 minute drive or EU15 taxi. We borrowed an umbrella from the hotel and caught the local bus to the beach nearby as well as driving to other beaches. Tickets for the buses are bought online arranged by the hotel. All in all a great stay and I hope to be back next time we visit Menorca.

Ưu điểm: Breakfast buffet style was good although it would have been nice to have eggs to order rather than the hot food in the heated tray which may have been there for some time. Coffee is from a push button machine but the staff are happy to make you coffee from the proper coffee machine at the bar. Essential if you are a coffee aficionado!

Ưu điểm: Hotel was really cozy. Next to the small beach. Area is quiet, there are some nice spots for relaxation. Hotel receptionist were very helpfull and did their best. Beds are comfortable.

Khuyết điểm: In general I do not prefer when shops and hotels use a lot of perfumes, so this was first impression which I got when arrived at the hotel. Good that it is possible to ask not to spray it in the rooms. What I did understand that HB is not for me, too much of different kind of foods and then you end up eating strange, thus I would prefer apartments next time as it gives you more flexibility on your plans like at what time to have breakfast or dinner and not to eat with the crowd. :)

The location was perfect, no need for a car, the bus services were reliable and the boat trips took you to different beaches. A very lovely holiday will be going back for sure.

Ưu điểm: The facilities are great! Nice chilling music whilst enjoying the sun. Despite being the last week of the season, the weather was very good! Location was fab as you are only 20min away in a €2 bus to Citadella if you want to walk around and see more shops and restaurants. The SPA at the hotel is a MUST-DO and the staff are extremely helpful.

Khuyết điểm: we got an upgrade to our original booking (that we appreciated and thank the Hotel for) but the room was on a ground floor, next to the restaurant and with the bedroom window facing the main street... we had to keep everything closed for privacy... breakfast was limited, and very crowded, we always had to queue for some time because the restaurant was full and the staff was running to catch up... wi-fi had very little range and if we moved 5 meters we would lose connectivity... parking is paid (4€ per night).

Ưu điểm: This was the second time there and we would definitely book again. The Hostal Ciutadella is located in the middle of the city Centre with lot of good restaurants and bars close to. Thanks for the pleasant stay again.

Ưu điểm: The staff looked-after us extremely well from arrival, through to departure. The accommodation (duplex) was clean and modern: comfy furnishings, English tv channels and endless hot water. My young son had a little accident one night and it was no trouble to arrange a change of bedding and clean up. The breakfast chef was great and treated the boys everyday and there was an English-speaking lifeguard at the pool during daytimes. On our penultimate evening a bottle of bubbly and glasses were left in the apartment for us. On the last day our flight wasn’t until late and we were welcome to stay all day, with luggage securely looked-after and shower facilities provided before departure.

Khuyết điểm: On a couple of days of bad weather (it was nearly off season) there was little else to amuse young kids seeing as beach/pool were not available. It’s not a complaint at all, but a games room with ping pong/billiards might just have helped for a short time - but overall the facilities were clean and modern.

The food in the restaurant is very good and the view from the terrace of the restaurant is amazing. In the evening you can see the beautiful sunset over the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need. We liked the furniture and the decoration of the room.

Khuyết điểm: The cleaning could have been better. It got very crowded at the beach at the end of our stay.

Ưu điểm: Spotlessly clean & room perfect (I was upgraded on arrival to a ground floor apartment with my own bed & garden)! The staff were all very friendly & helpful. The manager was extremely accommodating & let me stay later, as I had a late flight, for no extra cost!

The hotel room was spacious with the necessary kitchen minimum, the beds were comfortable. The hotel is not big, family-run, located on the first line near a large clean beach. On the beach you could rent chaise-longues and umbrella. The hotel pool was quite large and deep. The breakfast was great, we rarely saw such an abundance of breakfast dishes in European hotels. We had dinner several times in the hotel restaurant, the dinners were varied and delicious, the cook fried meat and fish right in front of you. The hotel has an excellent location. A two-minute walk, there is a small charming port with many restaurants (many of them were really closed, since it was the end of the tourist season). Near the hotel there were small supermarkets with everything you need. A large supermarket is 10 minutes away by car on the way to Ciutadella. The famous fishing village of Fornells with stunning cliff views of the sea is a 40-minute drive away. Other nice places to walk are near the hotel. We were very pleased with our choice of the hotel Carema beach.

Ưu điểm: The location was excellent, just a few minutes from the main square with loads of bars and restaurants. There were several comfortable and quiet sitting areas and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the air conditioning effective.

Khuyết điểm: The cereals at breakfast were poor quality and not much choice, and the bacon and egg only lukewarm ( as in most hotels), but otherwise the breakfast was fine.

Ưu điểm: The location was on a quiet side street, just moments from the centre and all the bars, restaurants, buses etc., so very well-placed. Room comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fine, unless you want a wide variety of cooked food; mainly cereal, bread, cakes and fruit - what you would expect from a 3 star hotel in Spain. Swimming pool rather small but nice if you want to cool off and not swim lengths..... Free hot and cold drinking water available in the lobby (so take some coffee granules with you - there is some coffee in pods available but you have to pay for it).
