Hotel Visitel

The location of the hotel ist perfect. Near to underground station Berri Uquam only a few minutes to walk. With the 747 bus you van go direct to this station for 10 eur. It's next to Place Émilie-Gamelin where sometimes play bands you can listen for free. In the hotel you cant hear the music. Ask for a room without windows to the streets. Every day there were busses with running motors which were quite loud so it disturbs your sleep. The rooms where nice and clean. Not up to date bathroom but very clean. We had a refridgerator in our room which was very helpful for storing our food. Every second day you have room service. You also have air conditioning and heating. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. We got information which places we should go, shown and marked on a map. The Port, Mont Royal plateau and Mont Royal can be reached per walking. For the botanical garden, olympia stadion and biosphere its better to use the underground, which is not too expensive with about 6 dollars for a round trip. We also got a nice advice where to eat canadian breakfast or lunch. A supermarket is also near the hotel. It was also ok to walk at night over the place. It was a nice stay and we would again choose this hotel.

A room with windows away from the street would have been better.
