Hotel Da Rocha

The room was nice. The breakfast was good. Nice access to the beach. Expensive for what you get compared to other places we stayed in the Algarve. We would try another hotel if we were to stay in Portimao again.

When we arrived reception was very rude. No one smiled and actually treated us the worst we have been treated the entire trip to Portugal. They accused us of lying that there were no spots outside to park the check in and made us put our baggage back in the car to go to the parking garage. However their attitude was the worst of it all. Thank goodness we never saw those men again otherwise I would have given this place a 1 ( there were 2 of them that were the worst ).

Great location across from the beach. Nice staff, if a little humourless at times. Very good breakfast with lots of choice and not too manic,, room very spacious, comfortable and very clean.

A bit souless. The decor is gloomy although modern, just not for a beach resort.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Location was very good.

Buffet evening meals all week would have been good to have waiter service. Would have been much better to have a dressing table in the room which was in a good light. Only the bathroom was a good light.
