Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good budget hotel that was exactly as reviewed so no surprises. 24 hr reception. Aircon good so temp was comfortable in room. Room attended daily. 15 min walk to metro and 25 to Colosseum so that suited us who walk a lot. Own car for airport if required. Nice clean bar area for drinks.
Area a bit scruffy with litter everywhere on the streets. Quite a few rough sleepers all over Rome to be fair. Take your own towels as hotel's are clean but odd style. Breakfast a bit spartan but manageable.

Staff were very kind, friendly and informative. We had a great stay. Thankyou:)
You do have to pay for WiFi and city tax. Towels were not very useful

Clean hotel, mostly nice staff, convenient location, you can leave your luggage after checkout for a while
The hotel offers very competitive prices which apparently means that they will charge you for anything ‘extra’. No free WiFi (10 EUR per 24 hours). The a/c can be operated on demand only from the reception. The ‘breakfast’ is basically a complimentary bun with butter, corn flakes and a coffee. When my friend from Rome was coming over to see me, the receptionist charged 10 euros to my room account for his 2-hour visit. He did it from my consent, but I had no choice, because my friend was already here and I wasn't warned of this policy when I notified the manager of the visit 1 hour in advance. This practice, I believe, comes from the fact that the hotel’s neighborhood is a working area for prostitutes (saw a couple of those myself) and you may as well bring anyone in for 20 euros for the whole night (actual words of another receptionist). I guess they decided not to make a difference so no one would feel offended. Also on the same night one of other guests took my key by accident and it wasn’t returned until the morning which was quite unsafe to say the least. On my last night here the same hotel manager (he’s the bad cop here, apparently) demanded me to pay the city tax and the 10 euros fee before I could go to my room. When I suggested him to deal with this the next morning, he imperiously pointed his finger on a chair at the lobby and threatened not to give me the key until I paid. I guess he felt like he was teaching the boy a good lesson. While of course there’s still other hotel’s staff which is nice and friendly, it felt like that particular manager took the hotel's policies really to heart and used them as a means of showing who’s the boss, demonstrating zero leniency and little respect to me as a customer. At the time of the check-out there was no one but a cleaning lady who didn't speak English which made it impossible for me to address any issue or to file a complaint.
