Ưu điểm: We couldn't fault this property, great position for exploring , close to beach and good restaurants. Reception staff always helpful and friendly. The penthouse apartment was very nicely furnished and had a large terrace to enjoy the sun with a glass of wine. I would recommend this property.

Khuyết điểm: The size of the apartment was bigger than expected and the amount of facilities was greater - coffee makers, etc. The only reason I did not give a higher score is that some of the rooms were a bit shabby - could do with a coat of paint and some items were a bit tired. Also I was under the impression that terraces etc could be accessed but this was not included. Also the rooms were not sound proofed and I found the upstairs neighbors really noisy - walking about with heeled shoes on, scrapping chairs across floor etc. But I wasn't bothered to complain about this

Ưu điểm: 2-star hotel with a 5-star suite. The suite itself was great and perfect for our relaxing, no-agenda stay. - lovely bath tub in the room and lots of space for 2 people. - 2 balconies and large living area + closet
Khuyết điểm: The lobby, breakfast and overall atmosphere in the public parts of the hotel were poor. Lobby was dull and felt a bit like a hostel, breakfast was cold and below-average in taste. The private pool and sauna available to guests of the Sercotel Suites were nice but quite poor/average in maintenance and overall vibe. It was fine for our quick stay in the late Autumn but definitely not somewhere you want to enjoy during the peak summer. - open bathroom not ideal unless you're a couple - the heating came on randomly in the middle of the night in our stay and the room was boiling (more than 30 degrees). we weren't warned that the building's heating was going to turn on and the AC system was telling us the room was cooling when, infact, it was turning it into a sauna! luckily in the middle of the night they did get us a fan, but we would have expected a call from management to apologize.

Khuyết điểm: The bath tub in the bedroom was great but had a design flaw with the plug. Sadly, with minor body movement it is easy to lift the spring loaded plug, very quickly emptying the contents of hot water from the bath. Practically unavoidable, especially if there is two of you in the bath.

Ưu điểm: The best location, right next to the promenade and the castle hill. Lovely view from the reception area. The outdoor pool was too cold for swimming. But again great views! They let us check in early, very much appreciated after an early flight

Ưu điểm: Excellent location right in the heart of the Old Town very close to all the bars and restaurants and just a short walk to the sea front and beach. Our "hostess with the mostest" Caroline was lovely and very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend Pension San Nicholas to anyone planning a visit to Alicante. We will definitely be coming back! Much love ❤❤❤
Khuyết điểm: Everything was perfect but would like to make a few little suggestions to make it even better. Perhaps some English language tv/satellite channels would be a great addition and a fridge in reception area to buy bottles of water, soft drinks, beers etc would be nice. Also some hooks on the bathroom door or wall to hang towels/bath robes would be good.

Ưu điểm: Great place - location can not be better. Room and public area (there was kitchen area for several rooms) just renovated - everything was new. Just around of corner many restaurants but still very quiet room.
Khuyết điểm: There is no elevator in old building. There should be automatic lighting in the hall behind front door. The manual light switch was difficult to find when coming in from bright sunshine. Because it was very old building there was some steps on the hall floor and those can not be found without lighting.

Ưu điểm: The owner was so welcoming and nice from minute 1!! She allowed me to have an early check in, had a spotless room ready and the location is absolutely great. The room is small, budget and has pretty much all you will need that I rarely saw even in 3 stars hotels. Toiletries, really nice shower, very good wifi, a water cooker, coffee, tea, you name it! Guests also have a fridge available at the reception. The beach may be 3 minutes in walking distance at the most. Greate restaurants around and lots of nightlife options. And again, I'd like to thank Caroline for so much kindness in my short stay

Ưu điểm: Good location, nice foyer. A pleasant place to stay for a night out in Alicante. Helpful staff (we asked for a late checkout and there was no problem and no charge), also the concierge was happy to store our bags after we checked out while we got some lunch downtown.
Khuyết điểm: I don't think this hotel would be classed as a 4* by Irish standards, perhaps a 3* rating? The room was small, but functional. Slight smell of damp, but we didn't spend much time in the room, so not a big issue.

Ưu điểm: The hotel was excellent. I cannot believe it has only a 3 star rating as by the looks and the service it was a high 4 star rating for my taste. The staff were really helpful and polite. This is from the reception staff to the room service / cleaning staff. Everyone was friendly. The hotel was extremely clean. Modern look and feel. Great location, not too far away from the beach front. Just excellent
Khuyết điểm: The only thing I would suggest would be for the beds to be more fixed to the floor. The floors were lovely and shiny but slided a bit. So when there was movement in the bed, the bed moved too. Not a big problem, just a bit annoying.

My daughter, who is now studying in Alicante university for 6 months, could offer several suggestions on how to improve the english translation. The rooms should have a small kettle and cups so that guests can make a cup of tea or coffee early in the morning when they get up or late in the evening before they go to bed

Ưu điểm: Loved the breakfast staff - really great customer service. Good food options. But the staff were amazing.
Khuyết điểm: The reception staff ( particularly the 2 young men ) were totally disinterested - in fact looked irritated by your presence. When we checked in if we hadnt already paid I would have turned around and walked out. The man behind the desk heard us come in but didnt turn around and continued to do whatever he was doing. Then he mumbled "hold on" then continued for about 5minutes to work on his papers before he looked and acknowledged our presence. It was so rude it was almost funny. This was continued each time we saw him and the other man and young woman ( she did try to smile though unlike the others ). Total contrast to the breakfast ladies. They should be on reception as the guys you have make a very poor impression for your business.

Ưu điểm: Right next to train station (arrival) and also to bus stop for airport (departure), so great location for travel connections. Room was well appointed, clean, and a good size. Reception staff were excellent.
Khuyết điểm: Couldn't seem to get the aircon to put out cool air, only hot. It was December so this wasn't really an issue - I opened a window.

Ưu điểm: Large room. Air conditioning and heating were controllable. Comfy bed. Small bottle of water complimentary. Fridge available. Breakfast was a good selection with 'home made' items a refreshing change and delight. The hotel is diagonally opposite the station and about 7mins from Luceros metro station and city centre.
Khuyết điểm: As always a good night's sleep is dependent upon fellow guests - and noisy and slammed doors showed no consideration for others.

Ưu điểm: Actually it's very good place for first day ariving through Alicante airport. Very close and comfortable to reach quick. As we are golfers, so we find very good value for price. Apartaments very spaciuos, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excelent with frech orange juice. Golf course was good condition and more or less challenging.

Khuyết điểm: The food, facilities pools are closed and large amount of building work. Dirty bedding and self catering facailities dirty. Description of location and facilities is not accurate. Overall a car essential to stay and even then I would not wish to stay here unfortunately. As a golfing day indeed but as a hotel guest most defiantly not.

The penthouse apartment was very nicely furnished and had a large terrace to enjoy the sun with a glass of wine. I would recommend this property.

Khuyết điểm: The size of the apartment was bigger than expected and the amount of facilities was greater - coffee makers, etc. The only reason I did not give a higher score is that some of the rooms were a bit shabby - could do with a coat of paint and some items were a bit tired. Also I was under the impression that terraces etc could be accessed but this was not included. Also the rooms were not sound proofed and I found the upstairs neighbors really noisy - walking about with heeled shoes on, scrapping chairs across floor etc. But I wasn't bothered to complain about this

Ưu điểm: 2-star hotel with a 5-star suite. The suite itself was great and perfect for our relaxing, no-agenda stay. - lovely bath tub in the room and lots of space for 2 people. - 2 balconies and large living area + closet
Khuyết điểm: The lobby, breakfast and overall atmosphere in the public parts of the hotel were poor. Lobby was dull and felt a bit like a hostel, breakfast was cold and below-average in taste. The private pool and sauna available to guests of the Sercotel Suites were nice but quite poor/average in maintenance and overall vibe. It was fine for our quick stay in the late Autumn but definitely not somewhere you want to enjoy during the peak summer. - open bathroom not ideal unless you're a couple - the heating came on randomly in the middle of the night in our stay and the room was boiling (more than 30 degrees). we weren't warned that the building's heating was going to turn on and the AC system was telling us the room was cooling when, infact, it was turning it into a sauna! luckily in the middle of the night they did get us a fan, but we would have expected a call from management to apologize.

Ưu điểm: The hotel is fantastic. In my opinion a very high-end 4* establishment. The hotel is beautifully clean and has stunning décor. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Attention to detail is their top priority and they make the guests feel so welcome. The breakfasts are amazing! The hotel boasts a fabulous location with stunning views across the beach from the breakfast room. Our room had a lovely balcony and view across the sea. This is my new favourite hotel

Ưu điểm: The hotel is very modern hotel, very fresh and clean. Our room was so comfortable, a real treat sitting on the balcony overlooking the Harbour. The bathroom was very nicely laid out, it came with Bath (jacuzzi) the shower was very powerful with 3 different settings. A truly lovely 2 days, would recommend. I will return. Just 15 minutes from the airport.
Khuyết điểm: Ordering room service was a challenge, even thou I repeated my order numerous times they still got it wrong. The one guy that delivers our order was so rude... so some training needs attending to with customer care.

Ưu điểm: Location is great. Eventhough we left for another hotel, we often ended up in restaurants and bars near this hotel.
Khuyết điểm: This was not the 4 star hotel we were expecting. There was an unpleasant (sewer?) smell in the room. It was not coming from the bathroom, but from the air vents. Our room was next to the elevator shaft. You could clearly hear it when the elevator was going up or down. The walls were paperthin. We could follow whole conversations from our neighbors. And also hear them returning loud and clear at 4am. In the night you could hear loud music (until 3am) probably was from the upstairs bar. The airco has a bright blue led light. Not convenient if you prefer a darker room. The bathroom was outdated. Very limited space between toilet and the sink. The hairdryer was broken and filthy. In general the furniture and decoration did not have the 4star look and feel. In conclusion we decided to leave early and to look for another hotel with more convenient facilities and have less disturbances during the night.

Khuyết điểm: One of the worst hotels I have been to. I don’t understand how it can have 4 stars. Parking is miles away, building old, beds uncomfortable, elevators malfunctioning, staff couldn’t care less about assisting you. Very bad experience, although price seems decent, it is not worth it at all.
