Marina Hotel Athens

Awesome hotel right next to the Acropolis.

Location was fantastic with it being close to all the restaurants in Plaka as well as Monasteraki. The rooms were well appointed and the bathrooms were probably the best that my girlfriend saw during our stay in Greece. The rooftop restaurant was world class with awesome views of Hadrien's gate. Highly recommend it. The staff at the reception were great at making reservations and helpful with directions.

The gym was quite an insult to the hotel of this calibre. It was located outside with outdated equipment out of which most of them didn't work. If I did not know the area well, then I wouldn't have felt safe going to the gym which was accessible from the outside next to a dark street and parking garage.
