Friendly owners and nice area.

Carpets a bit old and dirty.

very clean! everyday room cleaned, sheets and towels changed bathroom wiped dow and the bed very comfortable. situation was fine for both town cenbtre and the beaches, it was also relatively close to local buses and railway stn.Hotel managers were always helpful, breakfast was plain but adequate. For the price it was good value

Not a dislike just an observation, Biarritz is not a cheap town and the hotel gardenia is at the budget end so you do get what you pay for it looks a little tired particularly from the outside but my room looked fairly recently repainted and as i already said it was impressively clean. Iwas there early sept and the weather was very warm but there was no air con so i suspect that in the height of summer the room could get quite hot.
