The breakfast was superb and excellent. The location is great as it is near to the new Basilica. The room is very cleaned and beds are comfortable.

Amazing place. Everything was impeccable, the bedroom, the service, the food. It was possibly my best breakfast in a 4* hotel. The staff was kind and truly welcoming. I couldn't recommend more.

the staff was very nice and they let us park there during the whole day after checking out, location is really good, walking distance from the site of the aparitions of the Virgin Mary, breakfast was really nice

we reaerved a one king size room and it was actually 2 queen size beds put together, however, as the staff explained, we made the reservation very late (just a couple of hours prior to arrival), so the mistake (in our opinion) is likely to come from bookin.com for offering the 1 bed option when, apparently, it was no longer available at that point in time. this was the only incident and, apart from this, the rest was perfect

This is a beautiful hotel within a few steps from the Fatima Sanctuary. Modern facilities and a 5 star staff makes this hotel One of my faves. Visiting Fatima is one of the most meaningful and spiritual things I’ve ever done. The staff at the Santa Maria Hotel complimented my stay even more. Hoping that I can someday return to Fatima and if so, this is were I will stay again.

The hotel was very close to Fatima sanctuary, about 5-10 minute walk. Lots of shopping for religious items around hotel. Beds were very comfortable, clean sheets & towels. Damien & Nelson at front desk were the best, very pleasant, friendly & professional. They helped us with everything we asked.

Wonderful hotel, very close to the Fatime shrine (4 minutes walk). Spacious and large room, very comfortable bed. Fantastic and rich breakfast, the best breakfast we had in our 14 day visit to Portugal. Excellent service (We returned from the shrine at night and asked the recepionist for a kettle. Only 1 minute after entering the room we got a tray with a kettle and 2 cups). Highly recommended !!!

No tea making facilities in the room at first, but the staff brought a kettle. Unfortunately hotel charged for the milk for tea in the room.

The Santa Maria is truly a 4 star hotel. It is modern, clean and bright. The reception staff was friendly and efficient with a great recommendation for dinner--humor, we found out a waiter at the recommended restaurant was the receptionist's girlfriend. This didn't change our view of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was one of the most comprehensive and good quality we experienced in our two weeks in Portugal. The location to the shrine is outstanding, 3 minute walk. Ask for the top floor facing toward the shrine for a large room(with 2 balconies) from which you can see the bascilica. You will find tour buses here, but they did not detract from our positive experience. The room rate was very reasonable for the facility in our view.

We stayed one night as there is not much to do except visit the shrine(which we found fascinating), so there wasn't anything which was detrimental.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was very helpful and the proximity to the sanctuary perfect. The room was clean and very roomy. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of things to choose from! I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Everything very helpful stafffatima

The female receptionist during our stay was particularly pleasant and helpful. The Shrine event timetable, and availability of candles for the procession was very useful. The decor was beautiful and lovely statue to Our Lady of Fatima and picture of Francesco, Jacinta and Lucia.

No porter available when we checked in and checked out. I was accompanying 4 seniors so having porter service to help us with our luggages would have been helpful.

The ideal location as it was the nearest hotel to the Fatima shrine. It was a clean modern hotel that met our specifications. The bonus was that it offered a complimentary breakfast buffet that was delicious with a variety of choices.

The location of the Santa Maria was absolutely superb. Only minutes walk from the Basilica and all local attractions. The check in was so easy, the room had so much space and a bath, parking was great and the breakfast was absolutely superb. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we hope that we will be back in Fatima and if so, we will definitely be booking in again.

Let’s say rhat it was a great surprise. It is a nice anD elegant hotel, a real four stars quality. EVerything is well organized and very pleasant: the position, the room. services and breakfast and last but not least sn incredibje ratio quality/price.

A super hotel. Fantastic large and roomy hotel foyer with great public areas where you can sit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent with great cold and hot options. The hot option included bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs & baked beans with excellent cold choices including ham, cheese, fruit, fresh cake, cereals, multiple breads as well as good coffee options including a coffee machine with capsules - all anyone would need in a morning. The rooms are brilliant with modern bathrooms. We would definitely stay again.

No hairdryer. Electricity was on & off for 3-5hrs in our room but we were checking out so, it was ok.

Everything was excellent!! Except Airconditioner control

The information about not having control of the Airconditioner in the room, to change from cool to heat or reverse is not given to the guest. So we thought the Airconditioner was broken and had to wait till morning to ask Reception. It was very cold & uncomfortable in the night. Please inform the guests that if you have to change the mode from Cool to Heat or reverse, you have to call the Reception.
