Great hotel but quick to nickel and dime
The hotel was easy to find as it was right off the highway. Our room was super clean, bathroom was spottless. Hotel staff were all super friendly.
We had to pay $15 a night for parking which I found insane since we were already paying $100 a night for the room. They also charged for wifi unless you were a Hilton Rewards member which I didn't like. When I did sign up for the Hilton rewards to get the free wifi the wifi connection was awful and I couldn't imagine paying for something that barely worked. When you're paying that much for a room per night the least they could do is include wifi. No continental breakfast. They also did not have. Refrigerator in the room. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly but that's all you get for your money.
Staff was very helpful and the shuttle service prompt and courteous.
No early breakfast ... had to leave at 05:00 AM and there was little to eat before heading out.

Location was not good for us other than it's proximity to the subway. Lobby, breakfast and bar areas were dirty but rooms were clean!

Location was convenient to the T (subway) and bus line. I know there is a park close by as well as the JFK Library. I didn't get to see much of anything due to frigid temps. I had to check out a day early due to an impending blizzard. Laura, the office manager was super helpful and authorized a refund. There is a cafe right on the lobby. Food is so so but convenient if you want grab something quick.
Room was clean
There are many things about this hotel we did not like. For starters the manager Mohammed was not very helpful at all. He did not even point us in the right direction to find our room. Also I think it is rediclous that we had to pay $12 dollars to park at the hotel when we are staying there. It should have been included. Also since we paid $120 for the room breakfast should have been included but we were told we did not qualify for the free breakfast in the morning. We will be visiting boston again in the very near future but we will not be stayying at the double tree on Vernon st off of exit 15 in Boston. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone mainly because the staff and manager were not polite and were horrible at their jobs. I hope other double tree hotels are not like this one.
I will never stay there again
I didn't like anything there. The staff were not professional. I will never recommend anyone to stay there.
The staff were rude. We didn't have towels. We called for it and it 30 minutes to get it.
There was an employee at the front desk (not the one who checked me in) and she was extremely helpful in telling me where to go to catch the subway. She was worth the stay! But sorry I do not remember her name.
The shuttle service from the airport was horrible. The instructions of the pick-up location were terrible. I had to call the main hotel phone number which took me a few minutes to wade through the automated service. The driver did not see me and left. When he picked me up he said he didn't speak English. But the next morning, he was speaking English very well to the front desk employees. The employees I spoke to on the phone from the hotel were rude and patronizing. I would not stay here again in order to catch the shuttle to the airport.

I stayed here a year ago and the renovations to the rooms from then to now are wonderful. Room was clean and crisp. Would be nice if the room had a fridge though. Unlike the other two Double Tree's in the Boston area this one has a shuttle to the airport and it will also shuttle you to the downtown area making it convenient for sightseeing. The other two look more elegant but I would pick this one for those two perks the others don't offer.
At almost $300 for one night it was too expensive - being a holiday week and the big rowing event in town I think it's called price gouging. Also the people at the front desk could have used a bit more training and should be taught not to mumble when they talk. And after my stay I've called 3 times trying to inquire why the charge on my card is higher than my receipt. First call to the front desk they hung up on me, second call I was put on hold and they never picked up again, third call the phone rang 17 times before somebody picked up - he gave me an explanation that made no sense. I will try one more time this week before filing a formal complaint.
I like the shuttle to/from the airport. The convenient access to JKM/UMASS T station.
Excellent, polite and pleasant staff. Fair rates, clean rooms, quiet at night, comfortable bed.
Staff at the front desk
Staff in the Market Place, a little shop in the hotel, 2 Asian women, were not friendly and greedy about sandwiches. Another day there were 2 African American women who were very polite and happy to make food for us.
Good transport links to city centre, comfortable, and good value for money. Would stay here again.
Be careful when checking out, if you dont specifically ask for your deposit they wont give it back to you.
Heard the people in the next room so clearly, one would think we were in same room.. Not good!

in the first night they give us room 630:noise aircondition dnt work,no ventilation in the room.After one day they change us the room.
The price was fair enough. It is close to the station. Nice lobby. Large comfortable room. Good elevators.
Breakfast - not included - very poor choice. Filthy bath tub and a curtain. Quite far from the city's historical parts.
We chose the hotel because it was near to the airport and had a shuttle bus.Very welcome after a long flight. The room was very comfortable and clean. The cafe was adequate for our needs. I suspect we will stay here again.
There was no restaurant in the hotel or nearby, which was not a problem for us this time, but could be at another time.
I liked the ease at which I booked and checked out, as well as the comfort of the room.
