Ưu điểm: This small hotel has a boutique feeling. It is very clean and comfortable. The location is within a city block of the Guggenheim Museum, the lovely promenade along the riverfront, and the old city. The Aerobus stop is a half block from the front door, which was really convenient.

Ưu điểm: Superb location (if you take the bus from the airport, it stops literally at the door of the hotel) and very helpful staff, would stay again anytime. Also very clean, room service daily.

The room was sparkling clean, very comfortable, with a great bathroom and shower, strong air conditioning, blackout shades, and an excellent large bed. Very convenient to have an elevator. An excellent price. We were given an early check in. We found welcome treats in the room. There’s a sitting area with free coffee and cookies. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. Along with all of its strengths, what made this hotel exceptional was its professional, friendly, kind staff. Every person made us fell welcome. Highly recommended.

Overall the helpful staff at check in and the clean fresh feel to the hotel were big contributors to my visit to Bilbao. I particularly appreciated the shuttle bus service

Khuyết điểm: The shuttle bus timings leaflet should make it clear that the service does not run after 1400 on a Sunday. An extra hook in the bathroom to hang the bath towel on would be good - one hook is not enough for 2 towels.

Ưu điểm: Everything else was amazing. The breakfast buffet is a must if you can afford it. Anything you can think of to eat for breakfast, it is there. The room was large and very comfortable, I slept the best I have on my trip. Restaurant is also exceptional.

Khuyết điểm: It was a bit far from town. The hotel ran a free bus but they only ran on the hour and it only started at 11am. And I found the stops a bit hard to find, especially the Guggenheim, which was below the museum.

Looked at me like I had three heads every time I asked for a restaurant number or a taxi. Their answer to everything was giving me a map. LOCATION. This is BARELY in Bilbao in my opinion. The hotel is literally located on the exit ramp leaving the city. It barely fit on the map of center city. If you're going for business, it's perfect. But if you plan on exploring the city, get ready to walk, take trains, take buses, etc. I would highly recommend that tourists DO NOT stay in this hotel. It's at least a 45 minute walk from the Guggenheim & most of the tourist attractions. It is KIND OF close to the Old Part, but still a 15 minute walk.

Ưu điểm: The breakfast is great and even it is relatively far from the city center, it is very easy to reach public transportation from it. No charges is invoiced in case of no-show when you book with "free cancelation" condition.

Ưu điểm: Fabulous hotel. Huge modern bedroom and bathroom. Super buffet breakfast in wonderful breakfast room. I can't speak highly enough. Thr price was absurd, 52 euros for the room, 20 euros for two breakfasts and 11 euros to park in the basement. Obviously these prices reflect the current Spanish economy and tourism, as otherwise my 83 euro stay would have been three times the price. It's a five minute walk to lightrailway station which takes you to the Gug. We walked back to the hotel from the Gug - it took about half an hour including a walk through the old town.

Owner sent some detailed notes on how to find the best parking spot and then find the hotel, as it is not that conspicuous! No breakfast available at the premises - but a fabulous bakery is 50m away and a great tapas bar 100m away max.

Ưu điểm: We just spent 2 weeks in Spain and this was our favorite place we stayed! Our family of 5 stayed in the Woody Allen apartment and it was breathtaking. The place is brand new, fresh and clean. The decor, details, bedding, toiletries, and accommodations were top notch. The room was not ready when we arrived early in the morning, but they let us come leave our luggage and the cleaning woman was so friendly that greeted us! We cannot say enough about this place, it is a real gem! I wish we could have stayed longer, simply amazing.

Khuyết điểm: The A/C didn't work but I didn't report it and didn't realize until afterward that it is touted as a feature. The room's key card took up to 15 tries to work (replaced multiple times). The bathroom lighting is awful - overhead that makes one look terrible. Also there is no fan in the bathroom. The table in the room was worn and sad.

Khuyết điểm: We had superior room with river view and whilst well appointed, spacious and stylish the dramatic coloured glass bay window was not at all effective in blocking the exterior noise so, as a light sleeper, I had a very bad night. More than 3 coffee pods for Nespresso machine would have been nice.

Ưu điểm: The hotel is in a good location for travelling/walking around the city, for example, you can walk to the Guggenheim easily and the old town district. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable bed, air con etc. Breakfast was reasonable, another time I might skip breakfast and get something outside. There is a small bar and a comfortable terrace area for a late evening drink.

Khuyết điểm: The coffee from the coffee machine wasn't great and I do think a good coffee at breakfast is one of the pleasures of a hotel stay, so this was a bit disappointing. A decently powered hair dryer would also be a bonus.

Easy walking distance to the Old Town, the Guggenheim (simply beautiful) and the modern commercial center. The staff were really great, can't compliment them enough. The queen size bed is a dream sleep. Use the protected parking. Inexpensive and very secure. We wil definitely be back.

Locals come often make "feel at home town" atmosphere! that I value very much. I tried pintxos at some places in the old town but the quality at Poshtel is better. Mattress, bed, pillow sheets are almost brand new, super feel. Although there is 10beds in a small space, but it looks spacy and fresh.

Khuyết điểm: Bed: lower bed is too low, normal person cannot sit with head / back straight. Higher bed is squeaking at every movement. It is annoying. Bathroom: bath mat should be present. After every use, the floor is wet, and the user even tried her best still wet the whole room floor. Did not use only look around but kitchen could be better, may be!.

Khuyết điểm: A group of six amigos barged in around midnight chatting and laughing as if there weren’t three other people sleeping in the room. In the morning, the same group commandeered the two bathrooms for 40 minutes. (I timed it). Even though everyone was given an info sheet that clearly states that guests should be considerate of others and that the room is for sleeping, not socializing, that’s obviously not enough. Not everybody is going to read the entire sheet. Perhaps the clerk can politely remind guests upon check-in that the room is a shared space and that guests are expected to be considerate of others. A few signs to that effect in the bathroom and on the room door might help, too.

Khuyết điểm: The location is a bit far from the metro station. My bed would squeak when I moved, and even more when someone was laying on the top bed. The lockers are in a small space cluttered by the air conditioning unit which makes accessing it inconvenient. I was in room 4.

Ưu điểm: The place was spotloss and the owners really nice. The beds were comfortable and also the sanitary was perfect. There was a small breakfast and free coffee and tea all day. Also I really liked the vibe in the hostel. You need to decide how important location is for you. Besides I'd definitely recommend the place.

Khuyết điểm: The location wasn't great for me. It was a 20min walk to the Guggenheim and a 40min walk to the old town. Also the busstation is 25minutes away. Even the metrostation is 600m away.

Ưu điểm: Great value. Friendly staff. Spacious dorm. Plenty of charging points/socket extension leads. Quiet at night. Open plan communal area. Easy to meet people. Pleasant walk along river to centre. Free parking 5 mins walk.

Khuyết điểm: No hooks right next to the showers or shelf in shower for toiletries etc (sorry forgot to write in suggestion box)

Ưu điểm: Perfect size for guests to start communication with each other and to get new friends. Staff were extraordinarily friendly and gave me a lot of Spanish lessons! I got many great people there and talked about different things.

Khuyết điểm: The blanket could be better. Shower room was a bit difficult to use. More private space to put cloths on and off would be preferable.

Ưu điểm: This place is perfect, really lovely and helpful staff, very clean, good breakfast... a little bit of a walk (only ten mins!) to town. All in all everything you may need.

Ưu điểm: Great position - easy walk to the old town and to the Guggenheim. Parking was off site but still very convenient. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Khuyết điểm: We had to ask for tea and coffee making facilities but even then there was only decaf instant coffee. However could get a good coffee from the cafe downstairs.

Khuyết điểm: The reception area and bedroom were nice. The view from the bedroom was disgusting, facing out into a small square of rented apartments with no privacy at all if the window was open. The smell was foul.

Ưu điểm: Really nice staff and an easy check in and check out experience. The room was very comfortable and large for the three of us and everything worked perfectly.

Ưu điểm: Very good location. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and basic gym on site.

Ưu điểm: Location was very good. Right on the river and easy to get everywhere. Breakfast good. Hotel reception very friendly and professional. Overall hotel is looking tired and could do with new decor.

Ưu điểm: Two female travelers: Comfortable beds, safe, clean room. Just across the cool foot bridge to everything downtown. Good location -- walkable to the Gugg. Very welcoming of foreigners and most of the staff speaks English very well and were able to communicate complicated transit directions to me (like how to get to the bus that takes you to the airport) despite my limited Spanish. We were even able to borrow an adapter for our phones. It's not "the perfect" central location, but good price relative to hotels that are right at the city center. If you want the air conditioning to cool you room down, leave a key in the placard when you leave for the day, otherwise it turns off to save energy. Room smelled clean and fresh. We were fine with the size of the bathroom area.

Khuyết điểm: The lobby sitting area needs a good dusting/cleaning and maybe new carpet in the hallways.

Khuyết điểm: We booked parking but were told on arrival there was none available. We had to travel and park elsewhere at a cost of 18 euro per day.

Ưu điểm: The style, the buffet breakfast, the art works in the lobby. The lovely staff!

Khuyết điểm: Our room was smaller than expected and we didn’t know where the Guggenheim was in relation to the hotel. But as it turned out it was pretty close but the way taxis were routed due to one way streets we thought it was much further away. A map on arrival would have been invaluable

Ưu điểm: Very clean, friendly staff and great location. Parking is very convenient. Cannot day that a lot when driving in Europe.

Khuyết điểm: The mattresses need to be changed as they sink in the middle and gave me a sore back after sleeping on them.

Ưu điểm: Warm shower, comfortable beds, pleasant temperature in room when we received kind and helpful service with air conditioning.

Khuyết điểm: When we asked about airport bus transport, it would have been good to know that the airport bus required (more or less) exact change, and did not accept cards. (We almost missed the bus because we could only offer a 50Euro note; fortunately another passenger offered to pay our way.

Ưu điểm: Location was good and bar Manager was very helpful. Room was new and whilst functional, very nice.

Khuyết điểm: Reception staff were poor and very dis-organised. We waited to check in and check out for no obvious reason. We asked for a recommendation for dinner and specifically asked not to be sent to touristy places. All three recommendations given were really touristy and very expensive. Don`t take restaurant recommendations from reception staff here

Ưu điểm: The hotel was very clean, nicely designed, spacious room. Front desk staff were very helpful and had an excellent command of English. Reservations were simple and easy on line. Check out was easy.

Ưu điểm: We were upgraded to Room 747 which was a great room with a curved window looking out over the river.

Khuyết điểm: It's a hotel used for large meetings, and therefore e very busy at certain times of the day. This did not impact on us at all, but guest should be aware.

Ưu điểm: Great location ( although in a side way street) but very close to tram and metro stations (a 3 minutes walk ). Helpful kind staff. Sound proof large room. City view was not bad. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, generous amenities, complimentary water, coffee, and tea to allow you to relax in the room. Very rich variety of choices on breakfast. Did not try the gim.

Ưu điểm: Location is really very good, and the area is well connected to the airport via public transport.

Khuyết điểm: Staff was very friendly, but their command of the English language was not very good.

Khuyết điểm: As we arrived at the hotel (26/09) we were informed without any apologies that the hotel was sold out and that a problem with booking.com removed our reservation from their system and we would need to move to an other hotel, about 500 meters walking from there. Worth to mention that I received a phone call the day before confirming our reservation (2 double rooms with breakfast at the highest rate) and that reservation was made back in July. Very disappointing and unprofessional staff at Hotel Ilunion Bilbao.

Ưu điểm: Nice posh & executive feel that was really nice for the kids to also experience. Excellent location and beautiful views from our room over the surrounding hills
