The location was perfect, parking was very tight with a very limited number of spaces. The hotel was clean but the lobby smelled like garbage, not sure if this was due to all the construction happening. Although there was a lot of construction it was pretty quiet, I was on the 21st floor, view was bad as I looked across to a condo. The pool and restaurant were closed due to covid, therefore I had to order in my supper, and I left early to get breakfast as it was not offered. Price was a bit high because your not getting the full experience from the hotel, which is a disappointment.

The front desk staff was super friendly and very helpful. The location was great, next to the ferry terminal, very convenient.

At the time of the check-in the room wasn’t super clean, there was a lot of black hair in the bathroom as well as some small pieces of some sort of paper on the floor in the room.

Room was nice, a little on the small side but overall a good time.

Only thing I was not impressed by is that they held their semi-annual fire drill on the fire morning of our stay. I understand that this is necessary and planned for safety measures etc. However we were not informed that this would be happening until AFTER we checked in and paid even though it was planned in advance. I may have considered another hotel if I had known this as it was quite disruptive to the morning.

Excellent location for me; Good check-in. Clean room, comfortable bed; wi-fi worked well. Check out was fast. Water pressure in shower was OK.

Small shower/tub combo - seemed narrower than usual. Although the TV was fine, the remote was dated and was a struggle to get to a channel. Had to scroll through channels to get to a particular one. Channel selection a little weak.

Great location, everything was clean and comfortable. We were able to order Skip-the-Dishes to the hotel because everything was closed due to the pandemic. The room was very nice, quiet and we had a great view

The bathroom was aesthetically pleasing. The room had a nice view and the bed was comfortable.

The tv in room 2006 was broken. The bottom half of the tv was dim. Dust accumulated very easily. With no dine in due to covid, extra seating and bigger garbage bin would be useful for take out food.

Hospital staff made us feel welcome under pandemic lockdown of the city. The University Network of Hospitals where we had appointments were within easy walking distance.

Had to stay overnight ahead of a surgery at a nearby hospital. Very close to hospitals and hotel had very good COVID protocols in place.

No restaurants open, due to COVID, but at least they allowed food delivery services (UberEats, Skip, etc) to drop off.

The complementary breakfast was a real disappointment even though the other aspects were quite good.Due to the current pandemic related situation it is quite acceptable that the breakfast was provided in a packaged box,but the breakfast contents were not upto the expectations

They upgraded us to an exceptionally pleasant suite with full kitchen and two tv s so we were able to cook and eat onsite An excellent location close to everything

When I phoned initially to ask a question they had lost our reservation. After a call to booking.com they found it. When we arrived they initially tried to charge us the full normal rate. When I saw amount and complained they entered correct amount which was an amazing value so all was fine but recommend you look closely before paying. Also they only accept credit cards and not cash or debit cards

Good hotel in central downtown

The location was great in downtown. Stayed at one of the luxury king suites with a small kitchen. It proved invaluable as all restaurants are closed due to COVID and we had to buy takeaway food for meals. Bed was comfortable and pillows were just right.

It would be nice to have a little table to eat at. The coffee table had to do.

The location was perfect, you are near everything, restaurants, mall, metro station, touristic places you can't go wrong with this hotel. Also if you go to Toronto by travelling bus (megabus) it's literally right across the street so no worries about catching your bus on time when you leave. The location is the main reason that makes me consider booking again. Also the room was very clean and comfortable ( awful view but i didn't care! )

The staff wasn't very friendly espescially when we arrived. I had a problem with my payment method (which I fixed right away with my bank) the manager wanted to cancel my reservation instead of helping me with a solution. After a lot of back and forth he finally suggested a solution which was so simple, i don't know why he didn't suggest it earlier. They made me feel like I was bothering them, I know it was my problem but it really wasn't done on purpose, It felt degrading. The staff that was there when I left was more frendly. There was no cookies upon arrival either like they mentioned when I booked lol, not that I care but... and also get ready to shower with the coldest water. They told me it was normal because the hotel wasn't very busy, so water wasn't running alot... i'm sorry but I paid to be comfortable and this wasn't. I did not complaint because I am not a very complicated person. Also there was no breakfast at the hotel which would have been nice because i spent alot of money on breakfast alone.

Location, friendly staff at the desk, the option to hold our luggage after check out until it was time to go to the train station. The restaurant and bar were clean and service was good too.

The rooms did not have enough appropriate lighting and no full length mirror for dressing.

The room was very small - uncomfortably so. I've never been in a hotel room that was so tiny. The bed itself was also small (more like a double than a queen) and creaked loudly whenever either of us so much as turned.

Although I requested a single king bed we ended up with 2 double beds. The room was super super dry.

Location. Fortunately we were on a lower floor as there were elevator issues. We like having real glasses in the room.

As is typical of Hilton brands, the bedding was lovely with a nice duvet. Unfortunately that makes it so warm that it's necessary to lower the thermostat significantly

I pulled out a wash cloth and it was stained badly. Also the room was a bit small.

The garage parking was horrible! The spaces are so small and there isn't enough room to get in and out. A driver coming down almost hit us as we were driving out everyone had to use the same lanesize going in and out.

Friendly staff, very quick check in with 2 hot cookies for our late arrival (I'm allergic but it's the thought that counts). Comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom with a large bathtub, quick elevators - we were on the 17th floor Near city hall.

Room was very small, refrigerator was built in and it was warm rather than cold The pool wasn't warm and the pool area was very dreary. No hot-tub either.

No valet don't park on the street will get a ticket .The hotel charged me 2 days before arrival I explained this to the rep whomade me pull up my credit card info and show her I thought that was a bit much as if I were lieing :0 (

for some reason the changing room door to the pool locks from the inside - time after time, even when security had been called the day before - so that swimmers were required to go back out and around instead of directly back to pool. A very small point!

I enjoyed access to the pool, gym, sauna. The staff was very friendly. The lobby was beautiful.

Our hotel package had free wifi included and when we checked in, the concierge said there is no password login to the wifi but the wifi didn't work in our hotel room. It only worked near the elevator and the lobby which was extremely inconvenient.

The location couldn't be better! And the concierge, Jing, was very knowledgeable and helpful! The free wi-fi was a life saver as I was traveling internationally, and the business center was very helpful when I had to send a last minute invoice. I enjoyed the 24-hr sauna and found the beds to be comfortable.

The restaurant tended to close earlier than their posted hours, which made for some disappointing evenings. Also, the tap water has a distinct murky color which was unsettling. My room was next to the hotel's storage closet, so each morning I was woken by slamming doors and bustling about.

Updated renovations save old hotel in good locatio

The swimming pool is big for a downtown hotel and the breakfast buffet is worth the pricetag. The location is very central and Double Tree has made great efforts to save this older building.

The elevators are slow and unreliable and don't have a way to see what floor they are on while you wait. The breakfast buffet is good but repetitive. It would be nice to see a greater food variety over the days and they need Maple syrup and sugar-free syrup options.

It was very close to all main attractions in downtown Toronto. Nice walking distance to Rogers stadium. Nice room with comfortable bed.
