There is a feeling of historical place and 5 star hotel in the same place. Just amazing. Great service, rooms, facilities , breakfast. Unfortunately we stayed just 1 night. I want to come back

We were supposed to have a bed set up which did not happen when they said and took over half hour when we reminded them.

Fabulous, historic building beautifully restored retaining the important period details. Located a short taxi ride from the city centre in a quiet area with gardens and pool. Lovely bedroom with a large terrace. The entire property, especially the chapel, is beautiful. Very welcoming staff who give a short guided tour of the Convento followed by an enjoyable and informative wine tasting. Probably the best of the 23 outstanding properties we stayed in during the summer. Really lovely breakfast.

I thought it was an old convent converted to a hotel. It is that but it is a fully functional convent with a chapel and all the highlights of a beautiful convent. I felt like Maria from the sound of music!

The 2 restaurants only the expensive upscale was open and we really just felt like more of a casual dinner after driving and touring. If they close one they need to offer a more varied menu as the property is in a remote area and we didn’t want to leave our palace just to dine!
