And the JAL staff, on the ground as well as in the air, are Grade A diplomats, counselors, and -- in a word -- professionals. Which is sorely lacking in US air carriers, who don't seem to understand that air travel is a service industry, and to excel in a service industry, PEOPLE are most important to the customers. Specifically, having enough people: US airline employees are well-trained professionals too, but "corporate" consistently under-hires/deploys, which leaves employees juggling far too much at once, which degrades the service experience for the customer. Yeah, I get "the bottom line," but service industry customers will always go to businesses that offer better service. Ok, rant over. JAL is tops."

I especially enjoyed their in flight exercises before landing, it really felt great to get some proper circulation after sitting for a few hours."

My flight from Seoul to Los Angeles was on a Boeing which felt a bit older; entertainment screen was smaller and had a strange viewing angle (you have to adjust the tile until you get a clear view). While not really bad, I could've paid more attention to see if they inform which type of planes are being used during booking."

The only thing is the English of some servers were not really good. Sometimes they didn't understand what customers said. But I think it is just fine"

We departed 1 hour later than scheduled, despite a short connection, which they, themselves, scheduled into this flight! ..."

Because of this, I had to put my cat in the overhead bin during takeoff. This gave me and my cat a lot of stress, although they let me take her out during the landing. Also I thought the airline would open much earlier than my flight so that I could ensure the safe transfer of my pet-in-cargo."

We had to wait on the airplane for 45 minutes, causing all of us to miss the last buses from the airport to our neighborhoods. What is usually a 12,000 KRW bus ride turned into a 130,000 taxi ride. (The jimjilbang downstairs was full.) If they had brought out stairs and buses immediately, instead of waiting so long, we might have made it to the buses."

There was the main screen in the centre but I can't choose and the lights were on all the way when I tried to sleep. Disappointed that they didn't inform in advance. People expect Asiana as same as SQ which provides full of new equipment such as personal screen on each seat."
