Ưu điểm: Staying at Casa Amora was one of the highlights of our visit to Lisbon. Juan is a superb host; thoughtful, kind and always cheerful. His excellent advice and tips on what to see and how to get around made our trip easy and fun. He was also very kind and understanding when we had to check-in late at night after our flight was delayed. Breakfast is amazing – delicious pastries (including pastel de nata!), fresh bread, cheese, meats and clafoutis, served on beautiful china in a sunny courtyard. There’s also a big range of loose leaf teas and fresh coffee (I recommend the ‘Lisbon Breakfast tea’). We rented the duplex studio which was stylish and spacious - a huge bathroom, plenty of wardrobe and storage space, and a kitchenette. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from a metro station and post office. Everything was perfect. We will definitely stay at Casa Amora again if we return to Lisbon.

Khuyết điểm: The room we were given had a bathroom with no door, just a curtain, to the sleeping area which meant that privacy as well as comfort were highly compromised. I don't know if this is true for the other rooms but it detracted considerably from the pleasantness of the stay. Additionally, the location is less than ideal. It is a 20 minutes walk to the central part of Lisbon. Public transportation is a 10 minute walk so it doesn't really buy you anything.

Ưu điểm: the best hotel experience that I've had in years! first they upgraded the room to a mini suite, and the room and service were exceptional Great shower, and the rest of the facilities were to that level. Breakfast!!!! was one of the best I've encountered, the choice , the quality , attentiveness of the staff, didn't want to leave the Dining area :-) the SPA, wow!! indoor pool, heated, steam room, wet and dry sauna, well equipped gym - (open 24 hours)

Ưu điểm: Sana is my first choice every time I go to Lisbon. Staff is always glad to help and make everything possible to make you have a pleasant stay. The room is large, with a very comfortable bed and super clean. Breakfast is the most amazing one I've had at a hotel. Totally worth it.

Ưu điểm: Good room, nice pool, good staff. Pool staff Sarah, and Raphael in the lobby were particularly helpful and pleasant and knowledgeable.
Khuyết điểm: No problems, an overall great stay. Didn't sleep well on our last night due to noise from party of 200 business conference guests. An observation though; Pool staff are understandably not allowed to wear sunglasses, but it is glaringly hot and bright on the roof. Suggestion: offer them the use of a sun visor (health and safety/ humanitarian reasons.

Ưu điểm: Room was spacious and very well designed. Fabulous power shower. Location adjacent to Metro so easy journey to/from airport and downtown. Staff very friendly, especially Barbara who was the Breakfast Manager. Great Breakfast too.

Ưu điểm: Great accommodation. Breakfast was extremely good. We had a nice chat every morning with the young lady working at the reception desk in the dining room. Felt very welkoming. Staff was in general very friendly and helpful. At very early check-out they offered us breakfast - pastries, juice, coffee and cookies. We used a rent-a-car through the hotel which turned out to be a great choice. They delivered the car to the hotel and we also brought it back to the hotel, which was very simple and practical. We were very pleased with our stay. Great hotel and great staff.

It's a very clean establishment. I loved the natural wooden floors. To my mind the water was hotter in the morning when you wanted a shower. My room didn't have a desk and chair but I saw others did (makes a difference if you want to work a little). All in all everything was fine you would be very hard pressed to find something at this price any better. I would certainly go back, and the staff are so pleasant and helpful.

Khuyết điểm: but not making it to the check-in time (until 7pm), I started calling 10 times before 7 pm and no answer at all. tried about another 10 times and still no answer and the phone number which not worked. finally after waiting 5/10 minutes before the entrance of the guesthouse (a friendly neighbour opened us the door, so we could knock on the door on the 3rd floor), I tried phoning again and as a surprise they answered. An employer came 20 minutes later hopefully and the stay was very awesome.

Ưu điểm: We, couple and adult son, stayed in a 1 bed suite which worked very well for our overnight stay. In addition to the double bedroom, the sofa in the lounge converted to a comfortable double bed. There was also a kitchenette with fridge and hot plate that would definitely be useful for longer stays. Secure parking is available in the basement - a major plus.

Ưu điểm: The staff were amazing. At breakfast every day they played with and talked to my baby. They were just so friendly. The breakfast was really good too. A little bit of everything it was less than 5 mins walk to the metro.

Ưu điểm: We, couple and adult son, stayed in a 1 bed suite which worked very well for our overnight stay. In addition to the double bedroom, the sofa in the lounge converted to a comfortable double bed. There was also a kitchenette with fridge and hot plate that would definitely be useful for longer stays. Secure parking is available in the basement - a major plus.
Khuyết điểm: There is construction work currently in the neighbouring building - slightly audible during the day but not a real concern. The windows overlooking the road are definitely not soundproof - so street noise and aircraft did cause a bit of a disturbance.

Ưu điểm: Even titled as an apartment, the daily housekeeping is always available, as well the staff. The swimming pool is very nice.
Khuyết điểm: During our stay, the Internet broadband were broken incidentally more than 24hrs. The hotel had neither back up solution, nor the communication with the guests.

Khuyết điểm: There was building work next to our room which started early in the morning. Not the hotels fault but it was very noisy. The pool was closed which I imagine is normal for November but the ourside area was all dug up. In our room too the balcony was huge but in bad repair.

Khuyết điểm: The staff was not speaking English. We couldn’t understand each other at the phone. I was asked to send an email but they didn’t answer. I translated with a dictionary two messages, they didn’t answer either.

Khuyết điểm: We found bed bug full with blood in bed. After we complained to receptionist, firstly he said that it is ok and he can only change bed cover, because there are no available rooms. In 10 min he "accidently" found other room, but later we found there even more bed bugs. The trip to Lissabon was a bit destroyed with this situation, because we wasted our time to complain and then to search new hotel.

Ưu điểm: Hotel Expo Astoria is located in a prime location being near Marques de Pombal and Metro. Bus 727 stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to Belem where top tourist destinations are located such as the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, Pasteis de Belem, Torre de Belem, and Padrao dos Descombrimentos. Their breakfast spread is really impressive, I highly recommend it. The staff was pleasant and made sure that our stay was pleasant. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi, but do not expect high network speed.

Ưu điểm: My husband and I really liked the hotel. You can’t beat the location. My daughter who only likes new things thought it smelled old (uhm, it is!) :). We are going to stay there again this week when we go back to Lisbon:) Beds we good and some might say excellent but I prefer a very soft bed.

Khuyết điểm: Despite boasting that it's an art hotel, its interiors are dated & not a whole lot of art was displayed. I didn't like that we had to go down the stairs to access their elevator. The elevator was tiny and doesn't leave room for more than a couple of people w/ luggage. Our shower door also didn't close all the way, leaving a tiny gap which caused water to spill on the bathroom floor.
