Easy check in, boarding on and off was smooth, plane running to schedule - a great flight!

Crew was amazing, flight was on time.

Train the employees better

Airline changed the boarding gate twice without telling anyone, almost making some miss the flight. There were no comments made. One of the worst Airlines I've.

Peruvian gentleman on the plane just prior to landing was telling me how dangerous it is in Peru in the area surrounding the airport. I was given four hours of wifi coupons and coupons to a breakfast and lunch at a restaurant by our gate, where i was waited on poorly. Next time i may look for a layover in Florida."

Khuyết điểm: "My entertainment center didn't have audio for one of the movies so I had to use closed caption to read what the characters were saying. I had some issues trying to get the movie to play because the screen froze for a moment."
Ưu: "The meal offerings given my "special" menu request (vegetarian) was better than expected, portions were of a nice quantity, the food wasn't bland, and in terms of variety they offered a good food selection. The available entertainment catalog (movies, TV shows, etc) was vast, and included recently released films. I also love that LAN offers pillows, blankets (of good, warm material) and headsets. The crew was attentive and helpful. The plane plane was clean, which is expected to be but not always ends up being that way."
Khuyết điểm: "The plane looked like an older model, which is not a problem itself, the problems were: my seat was missing the cup holder ring (looked like it broke) meaning no place to keep a cup to drink water throughout the flight. The remote for the "t.v."/entertainment system, that is nestled on the side of the seat, wasn't working and the touch screen glitched (it would freeze, or kick me back to the root menu while I was browsing through options) Small technical problems that given the $$ flights cost, one expects them to work properly."

It was ridiculous, then it took 15 mins for us to be able to get out the plane after we landed in Santiago. Overall, boarding was very disorganized and ruined my general schedule after arrival into the country."

Initially it was only delayed 30 minutes, then we were told an hour, then one more hour, then one more hour. The entire time we sat in a pre-boarding area with no food, water, wifi, or electrical outlets. We ended up missing one of our tours in Buenos Aires (which we had already paid for) due to the delay. Extremely disappointing after having otherwise positive experiences with LAN."

When doing our own check in the machine only printed one of our boarding passes and if someone would like to upgrade prices should be more reasonable

I guess it wasn’t they’re fault, but there was a almost 3 hour day and most of it was after we boarded so you were stuck just waiting on the plane

She had to consult her superior that in front of us sayid it would be ok. Even after that She was challenging him. At the end it was all good. She had a very bad attitude."
Ưu: "I like that the pilot to managed to take off in the snowy conditions and arrived our destination LA our time. The crew was amicable. That was it really."
Khuyết điểm: "I felt the plane was not very comfortable for a 5 1/2hr flight. I will not fly this plane never on transatlantic it just not cozy like big airbus or b777. Air Canada should invest in big planes if it want to cash out on the passengers connecting their pacific flights."

Khuyết điểm: "I upgraded my seat and I couldn't even recline it. 6 hours in an upright position. If I would if know this I wouldn't of upgraded to that seat I actually would like a refund in this as well. Waste is money"
Ưu: "The flight was delayed more than 9 hours. We arrived at the original departure time because I did not have internet access to receive emails about the delay. We wait at the terminal all day, and we did not get food or drink. I will never choose this airline."

Employees at the airport did not know what they were doing, gave lots of misinformation. Upon landing, we were refused our bags despite being stranded for multiple days. Terrible experience. I urge you to stay away."

Khuyết điểm: "Air Canada Rouge is a nasty way to travel. In a standard seat, there is enough room for a very small adult/ child. If you are 6ft tall or more, you are going to be in trouble. If Air Canada gave an extra 3 inches of space for your knees between the seat in front of your own seat, everything else would be bearable. Corporate greed drives jamming in as many seats as humanly possible to ensure that you know how a sardine in a can feels. I am not sure why Air Canada feels justified in charging extra money for a bulkhead seat just so a customer can have a "normal" experience travelling. I would recommend every Air Canada exec goes for a ride on a Rouge Cattle Car to see how enjoyable it is."
Khuyết điểm: "i booked the flight in january and keyed in my passport expiration date several times online in the next several months...at the airport, i handed the air canada agent in miami my passport and she booked me and a checked bag through toronto to copenhagen...i went to board my connecting flight in toronto and was told my passport, which expires at the end of august, was no good as i needed to have 3 month left...so they refused to let me board and told me to go see customer service...so i go stand in line for several hours (was only one agent for the first 45 minutes and 10 people in front of me)...one woman going down the line to see what each person's issue was told me that it was my problem, not AC's...and that "we are only responsible for making sure your passport is valid for getting into canada"...i was on my own to find a hotel and a new flight...fortunately a supervisor saw me standing in a daze several minutes later and said that it was AC's mistake for not catching it in miami...so she booked me into a hotel, gave me the address to the US consulate and instructions on how to get an emergency passport...she said that it would be no problem as "this happens all the time"and went ahead and booked me on the next day's flight...so i was able to spend the next day getting the new passport and getting back to the airport to fly out that night, but i lost a day in copenhagen with my family...it seems to me that when flights are booked and passport info, including expiration date, are given, a simple cross check of dates would be easy, and, imho, incumbent upon the carrier taking you there, especially when "it happens all the time"...this was not done on 4 occasions between booking and my trip...there were other issues too which is why i will never fly air canada again and i will never travel though toronto...the return trip through that airport was a nightmare for many passengers."

In flight entertainment was by app...that you have to download first, I should have known beforehand. Food was little munchies. Seemed like an old and tired airline"

Khuyết điểm: "I had booked my Air Canada trip and had a single stop-over while I switched to a different plane. Both of these planes were Air Canada. I Even though I made it through Customs in the shortest time possible, and back through security, I still managed to narrowly make my second flight. They were final-calling my name and actually taking off earlier than expected. Had I been 2 more minutes late, my flight would probably have taken off. I didn't check any bags either, so had I checked one, I don't think I would have made my second flight."
Ưu: "I liked that we got a lot of food, and the movies were very good. Groups for boarding made sense and we boarded quickly"

Ưu: "Boarding is very slow and disorganized. Plane was unusually noisy. Rouge seats are the WORST very little legroom even by economy standards."
Khuyết điểm: "TO - Pearson AIRPORT horrid CUSTOMS layout- all automation with little assistance and little signage what to do... when 300+ people need it simultaneously it is a mess. NO warnings if/when to collect luggage or not- so waste time at baggage carosel when it is not coming out between flights. Too few Attendants sending connections on wild walk through long concourses to undefined line ups. Customs surely...not humored at all. Why the second time 45 mins cattle line up for security pass through before customs?? IN TRANSIT STILL??!! Not having proper crew ready to take over flight when delays make first crew sign off...waited on plane with no service for 1.5 hrs no water or food - should have disembarked to terminal?? Babies kids had 5 hrs onboard with no distractions or food. YIKES!! In the AIRPORT lack of AIR Canada personnel attending gateways! EMPTY until 20 mins before flights. Customer Service Desks somewhat helpful...could do more form their stations."

When food service came aroind, people had there seats back amd instead of addressing everyone to politely put their seats in the upright position, she specifically told her (in a very harsh tone) to put her seat up for consideration of the person behind her. The customer said she couldn't because the person in front of her had her seat reclined as well, which left her with very limited space to eat. The flight attendant continued to say she needed to pit her seat upright or take a seat in the back of plane. I was in shock by the flight attendants' unprofessionalism. Flight attendants also need to provide passengers with pens to fill out declarations. Some would not provide customers with pens. I will never fly Air Canada again!"

They cancelled the round trip flights i had departing from vancouver to mexico and back so i never was able to use this flight to Vancouver and now will just have a credit there until used. can provide a better rating once i am able to use the flight."

Khuyết điểm: "The flight attendants were inconsiderate of the wishes and comfort of the passengers. Food and drink were offered for sale in tourist class shortly after takeoff in the morning. Since I had just had breakfast, I asked if the food and drinks would be available later. The answer was probably not, which indeed was the case. This was on a five hour flight. When I did want food and drink, I had to go to the attendant at the back of the plane. I was able to have a drink delivered to purchase a drink, but the one food item I wanted was not in stock. (This was from the beginning, and was also the case on the outgoing flight a week earlier. I was informed that I could not use my noise cancelling headphones, designed and purchased largely for flying during takeoff and landing, but had to use ear buds, which I did not have, do not like, and as a senior with hearing aids find uncomfortable. Thus, I missed the benefit of their noise cancelling feature and much of the movie I was enjoying. On the earlier flight, one of the two toilets was unavailable, causing long waits, but the attendant in the front of the plane refused to allow me to use that toilet, which was available. When I protested, she answered the same way perpetrators of crimes against humanity did "I am just following orders." Where is the concern for the humanity of a senior citizen? Also the previous flight connections was scheduled too closely so that with security and border clearance, I was barely able to board at the last minute, thus causing a great deal of stress, no time to ear or use the toilet at the terminal, once again unhealthy stress and discomfort, no concern for the humanity of the passenger."
Khuyết điểm: "Flight was delayed for over 4 hours due to Air Canada fault, no crew at the gate to provide updates, forced to gate check all carryons, missed connection AND rebooked connection. Canada was lovely, too bad I can't say the same about Air Canada."

The system for check-in is the stupidest i have ever seen - we were asked to scan passports and boarding passes then stand in a crowded area to wait for names to come up on an electronic board that could only be read from the front of the room. Who thought of that????"
