Smooth ride. Entertainment didn’t work.
AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in

Ưu: "Crew was great. Love that the soft drinks are still free, unlike some other carriers. More leg room in the plane as well"

Ưu: "The ground crew were very courteous but I feel they were not being completely honest regarding the delays. It felt like we were being given false hope that the flight was taking off soon."
Khuyết điểm: "We were boarded thinking we were taking off soon. Except the delay continued for another hour and a half I found out. I had exited the plane having been given the option of staying in Gainesville in a hotel provided by the airline and being booked on a flight the next day."
Ưu: "It was a red eye. So good to be seated, quiet. not too crowded."

Khuyết điểm: "- Seats are very tight - Pay for luggage even on a transatlantic flight and your seat (if you want to choose) - Food was below average - even for airline standards, ran out of drink options even for dinner (the second time they serve drinks)"

Khuyết điểm: "Having to us use our cell phones to watch a few channels was terrible. No movie. No help. You were just left on your own. Total of waste of time. Give us a monitor. Give us options. You are American Airlines, not Allegiant Air"

Khuyết điểm: "Too often the video screen I’m given doesn’t charge up and it has to be replaced mid flight. This happened again during this flight when 2 screens didn’t charge and had to be replaced before the movie ended. The crew was helpful, but this problem is annoying."

Ưu: "Service was wonderful and flight pretty much smooth for the 6;5 hour ride back to Seattle. I do enjoy taking American Airlines."
Khuyết điểm: "Had a 350 pound gentleman in the seat in front of me and had he had no idea of how stressed I was when he would try to adjust his to go back further."
Khuyết điểm: "My bags were not checked all the way to my destination, I had to get them re-tagged and checked for this part of the trip and the American Agent was EXTREMELY rude and made us pay oversized bagge fees even though our baggage was within the Qantas allowance, the main carrier for our flight."
Khuyết điểm: "It was an old plane (with short First class) and they changed various time the departure time without explaining until letting us wait without news for an hour on the plane before takeoff... and arriving at Miami without a door available, we had to wait further 30+ minutes in the plane"

Ưu: "The trip was fast and efficient. The crew was very friendly and we had no issues."

Ưu: "An elderly lady sitting next to me with a broken arm.....was approached by the flight attendant and the flight attendant was so considerate that she took the lady to the empty seat in first class!!! I noticed this kind gesture and noted it to the flight attendant. She told me sometimes folks get upset asking why they did not get the upgrade! It amazes me....I always think if that were my mother how would I want to be treated!!! CUDOS to this Flight attendant....Thank you AA for making this gesture and God Bless you all!"
Khuyết điểm: "Surprise....American Airlines no longer food nor one bag free! Well if you can stomach the not even a snack nor one bag...then Fly AA so not so bad after all. But Gate agents, baggage handlers, pilots and flight attendants take away any negatives whatsoever! Great work AA."

Khuyết điểm: "Tiny plane, old. No leg space at all (I'm 5.5). Our connection before this flight was a 1 hour flight on a modern very spacious airplane, we wished we could've flown on the same plane for the 6+ flight to Paris."

Khuyết điểm: "I was forced to check a bag in when I had flown previously the week before with the same carry on. $50 spent for nothing in my opinion. Per the supervisor over head bin size does not change yet my bag was "too big" like I said I had flown literally 4 days before this trip and had no problems with my bag fitting nor did any of the flight attendants say anything. I am just annoyed. Also I didn't know that I would fly American as it's through Alaska originally, maybe that was my lack of attention to detail. The carry on situation is what irritated me the most. This is also not the first time that I've had a problem with American Air."

Ưu: "The food, in flight entertainment and attention to detail by the Flight Attendants was very good."
Khuyết điểm: "The personnel handling the front desk at check in gave myself and others bad information about how to check a bag. Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

Ưu: "Our flight was delayed overnight in Las Vegas, which was hassle but unavoidable due to weather and pilot flight hours restrictions. But the ground crew and American Airlines worked very hard to compensate all the passengers: gave us each a voucher for hotel, 2 meals, round trip shuttle ride for hotel and airport. Good work to make up for a bad situation."
