Khuyết điểm: "Enjoy the free money, cause I didn't go on my flight. Work had me cancel my vacation a month ago. I tried to cancel, but it wouldn't let me. I tried cancelling through the insurance I purchased on it and they said they couldn't either (even though cancellation was covered in full)."

Ưu: "The flight was less busy than usual (it was an Easter Sunday departure) and so service was a bit more relaxed and friendly than usual instead of just efficient. Left gate a few minutes early and arrived 20 min early in Tokyo. Flight time is pretty good - 8pm departure which gives time for a relaxed day sightseeing in Dusseldorf before going to the airport in the late afternoon, Arrival in Tokyo is about 2pm which would be a good time to check in to hotels and relax. Food was good - dinner after take-off and a brunch-type meal a few hours before landing. Entertainment system is also very good although I'd flown a lot recently so seen the films I wanted to see already. Sometimes ANA are just "good" but this one was the best one I've flown recently."

When the turbulence died down, the flight attendants did not bother to complete the food service for snacks or drinks ordered. I had to get up and ask twice. They were not present much at all in BUSINESS CLASS. So that's why I rated the experience as poor. The international food choices are poor. They do not taste good. I think I have to stop flying ANA. Ưu: "While a United flight, the staff was great and entertaining for the 14 hour flight. The plane was a little older and not as clean. When at the gate, United offered no real assistance with things that we became use to when flying internationally with ANA."
Khuyết điểm: "While the review is suppose to be for ANA services as that was the flight we booked through Kayak, right after booking, we found out through the travel agency the flight was sold to United (not sure if that is true or not). We flew ANA before and loved the service with them, but was great disappointed in the fact we were left in the cold and sold out to a lesser quality airline. This situation has left is with a little distrust in bookings available with Kayak (we have booked almost all of our flights of recent years through the service). As a result, we needing to purchase tickets for Christmas this year, we did a quick review on your site, and then went right to the airlines site directly to book. Lastly, United was steadfast in its refusal to let any flight in its control leave on time. We are usually sitting a the gate for lack of pilots, attendants, lack of food, lack of fuel, computer issues or they can't get the plane started. This time around, no reason was given, but we sat on the tarmac for an hour before leaving. Normally not a real issue as I have come to expect this from United, but they kept moving our flight times around, leaving us with only an hour for our connection at O'Hare."

Khuyết điểm: "The TSA agents broke my phone and tried to hide it in a secured package with another of my electronics. I questioned why 1/3 phones were in secured and the others were not. I was told to not open the bag until I reached my destination. Lucky I opened it after I cleared security to find that the face of the phone had been shattered with glass shards sticking out, I bought this to the crews' attention and was told to send an email to a random email for the airlines and that the incident would be investigated later. So basically I was given the brush off. Worst experience I have had while flying."

Khuyết điểm: "same remark : Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

Ưu: "I have long stay in the DOha airport, 22 hours, and during this there is no accomodation is provided by Qatar airway"

Ưu: "My husband and I recently traveled from New York to Bali Indonesia for our honeymoon. We were upgraded to Business for all four of our flight segments. The flight attendants were incredibly friendly and courteous and were actually surprised when we only ordered one drink and one meal at a time! The food was phenomenal, especially for an aircraft meal, and no matter what I was in the mood for, they had it."

A lot of times you will run into nice people in their counters and desks, until you run into a massive a$$hole. In this airline it is very common to find quite a few individuals that need re-training and re-education on how to deal with customers."

They could have at least advised but the attitude was blaze and not willing to even speak to me."

I didn't want to cause a problem, so I left it upright - later on, when I walked to the back, I saw her sleeping w/her seat reclined! The Emirates service desk offered no help in getting us on the next flight home. They were booked full the following day with the exception of business class seats and were going to charge us an additional $4000 which included $600 each for being a no show. They refused to waive any fees so it was drastically cheaper to fly home with another airline. I am most disappointed in their lack of effort to assist us in getting home and they really showed no concern. I will never fly this airline again."

Khuyết điểm: "Our flight from Boston to JFK in Ny was delayed an hour. We got to JFK and ran from the plane to the terminal and they had already closed the door but the plane was still there. They wouldn't let us on the flight and it ended up even being delayed for 30 minutes! We talked to JetBlue and they said they couldn't do anything for us so not only did we miss out on a day in Italy, we lost our a ton of money on all the things we booked for Tuesday. We also then had to get a hotel in ny and everything was booked so we almost had to sleep at the airport but luckily we found a place that had a last minute opening. Still was super expensive and no one helped with a "destressed rate". Now we have to wait until 10 again tonight to try to catch the plane to Milan because Emirates only has one flight a day. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had."

It took a login to the Cathay Pacific web site to figure out that with the rescheduled time, I would miss my connecting flight from HongKong to Boston if I didn't change anything. I managed to sort it out, though it took using my cell phone to place an international call to the HongKong Cathay Pacific office to get me on an earlier flight. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service -- had I not had WiFi access or an international capable cell phone, I would have been stranded in Taipei or HongKong an extra day. I think CP could have done more to notify and help remediate the situation knowing the implication of the rescheduled flight. Food also remains mediocre, though slightly better."

My outbound flight LAX-HKG, the dinner salad included shrimp. I explained i could not eat the shrimp. The attendant was kind enough to swap it with a leftover vegetarian salad."

I attempted to call in to Cathay to explain I could not have shrimp/prawn. The rep either did not understand or could not help. I really wished Cathay offered a pre-arrival meal like the other airlines. LAX-HKG and HKG-LAX are 13+ hours. Cathay offers a departure meal and a mid-flight meal. But by arrival time, I was starting to get hungry again. Thank God, I had enough of a layover, even with CBP processing, to grab a quick bite before continuing an additional 6-hours to home with no time to eat."

Turkish airline staff was horribly rude, wouldn't acknowledge their mistakes, very uninforming and all of it to pretty much force you to pay the airline more money in penalty fees for changing flight arrangements and new ticket purchases. And be careful THEY DON'T have any announcement on the intercom system at Attaturk (I had no clue as to that being the case there, nor have I ever been at an airport that doesn't). No boarding announcement, no gate change announcement, no nothing.....and if and when you miss a flight because you didn't know the gate changed while you're sitting at what you thought was your gate and no one bothered to let you know (including the person who checked your boarding pass when you came into that gate area, it's down hill from there! They will tell you it's your fault and not give a dam* what you say to argue otherwise....and......if you don't pay the penalty they dictate to change your flight ($1114 on a $780 ticket in my case so I purchased another ticket on Turkish air on my own for $236 to get me where I was going), they WILL cancel your return flight without telling you, at which point you will have to buy a new ticket to get back home and they end up getting the money out of you regardless. This was an absolute nightmare of a trip, couple with being treated like dirt by everyone at the airport. I will not ever again fly Turkish Air if I can help it."
