The direct flight from SFO to Haneda (the smaller and closer of the two airports in Tokyo), was almost twice the price of China Air with one stop over, but I would definitely fly JAL again!"

One thing however, I have been to the same gate twice on my travels out to Fukuoka and the temperature in the waiting area is unpleasantly warm. Ưu: "Clean bathrooms, courteous attendants, plenty of food and drink! These and more are what you can expect from Korean Air. Attendants are also bi or tri-lingual in many instances and will even bring you water and other drinks if you need it. I never felt dehydrated or hungry like I have on other carriers, and I appreciate this so very much because it isn't cheap to buy a bunch of food/drink after security to bring on the plane just to not starve... NOT on KOREAN AIR - full belly, no chapped lips! They even have hydration spray in the bathrooms and lotion too!! You get slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, headphones, and did I mention the games and movies on your INDIVIDUAL SCREEN ARE FREE? In case you are wondering... I flew COACH. Another note from this trip on the level of service. There were a couple of people, who I think were Vietnamese. They spoke no Korean and no English. The flight attendants even made an effort to find another passenger who spoke the language to explain the U.S. Immigration form because the forms were in Korean and English as the flight was coming ion from Korea. It was probably also available in Chinese and Japanese since many from there also take the Korean Air flight to the U.S. Still, the couple spoke none of those languages. They were behind me. It turned out that no one else on the flight spoke their language. So what did the attendants do? Well, they filled out the forms for them so they could get to their family, who turned out to be in Houston."

Because of this, it was stale and smelly. I'm not sure why the circulation on their plane was so poor but it really made the flight more difficult than it should have been."

All in all I couldn't ask for a better way to make a 20 hr trip to the other side of the world."

But no checkin counters were open. The first check-ins began 3 hours prior to take off. By that time the line was backed all the way out into the main corridor. It would be MUCH better for ANA and the customer to begin the checkin process 3.5 to 4hours prior instead of 3."

Khuyết điểm: "I'm very upset that the Kindle that I reported missing while I was on a layover in Tokyo from Flight NH 0956 on Nov. 17th 2015, was not turned in. I was in seat #30D. I filled out the necessary forms, the plane was still at the airport, but I had to board my next flight beforer eceiving any confirmation that the Kindle was located. I fully expected it to be turned in. I flew ANA Nippon Airlines especially because of their reputation for excellent service. I counted on the honesty of the flight clean up crew, and expected my Kindle to be found & returned. I didn't hear from the airline the next day, so I called Nippon in Tokyo. They did not HAVE the Kindle. It was then considered 'lost,' I received this same request about the flight from KAYAK and I didn't receive any response from YOU. This is the second time I'm writing. Now you say that this isn't the proper format for a report to you. I am not even able to cut & past e this report to you. My frustration has reached it's limit. I espect to hear from you and to compensate me for my lost item. You can contact ANA on my behalf. Sincerely, Robin Shelley Lieberman"

Khuyết điểm: "If I fly with Asiana or Cathay Pacific they have no problem offering a filling meal that appeals to my western tastes. ANA does not do this. Even the assumed non-Japanese meal option I to have an unappealing taste, and to be non-filling. This the case on all flight legs."

Ưu: "My mom traveled alone for the first time. She doesn't speak English very well. I'm so impressed with the crew that they took good care of my mother. They understood her super broken English and served her real good vegetarian food. Thanks again."

One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."

It took me more than 30'walk with the little boy. The woman gave me hotel voucher also gave me wrong informations. Which took me long time to pass the screen scan that I do not need it. I was so up set when the guy wanted to conform the hotel voucher while I already had it. I had to walk with luggage and the baby. It was terrible while I was not feeling well and my son wanted to sleep."

Khuyết điểm: "I booked a round trip flight from Kayak with Qatar. The flights had 12 hrs transit in Doha. At Doha, I was told that my ticket was "promotional", which I never knew. They said that I could have receive a complementary hotel stay had the ticket not been promotional. They said I could pay 125 dollars for a hotel. I agreed to it. However, they told me that "the captain of the flight denied your request". Upon further questioning, the only response that I had was "this is not my problem". So, I ended up being stranded in airport for more than 25 hrs in total (round trip). I checked in at their Oryx lounge, paying 56 dollars for 6 hrs. The lounge could have been a good place for shorter transits (say like 5 hrs), but for 12 hrs, it was not really a comfortable place to be in. Altogether a horrible experience."

We had to fight between the Qatar airways customer care and American airlines for two hours to sort it out. Finally they printed the boarding pass. It was too much of mental torture. I will not choose Qatar again. Horrible!"

I had booked vegetarian meal option when I booked tickets, but by the time they got to my seat, I was told there is no more veggie meal left.. it happened with both dinner and breakfast. I asked the flight attendant to substitute some fruits for the egg, so that I can eat something. They said at 30000 feet altitude, the options were limited. I told him, so are my options limited, and running out of veggie food is not my problem, when I had booked veggie meal at 30000 feet and a flight duration of 16 hours. The attitude of one flight attendant "Ahmed" was horrible. He was never helpful, mean to passengers and would not offer any solution to any problem... I was travelling with an infant, and he refused to fill a bottle of water to prepare milk, and said that I had to wait until they finished their ongoing service.."

They also serve food once and you don't get a snack or anything--you don't even see the attendants--for another 10 hours. Then they serve breakfast close to an hour before landing. The crew is constantly telling you to sit as if you weren't allowed to use the toilet at all when the seatbelt sign is on--and it's on the whole time. So you have to be asking permission to use the toilet when you are right next to the toilet door and about to go in because they don't allow you to use it. That's not healthy for someone to hold it."

Ưu: "I was traveling back to the US after being sick with a pregnancy related condition in Uganda. The flight from Dubai to Dallas was the longest leg of my trip. I got sick during the flight and was so impressed by how the flight attendants handled the situation. They kept checking on me during the flight, asking if I needed anything, encouraging me, and taking care of me. I really appreciated the help!"

Khuyết điểm: "I fly quite frequently, I always check in online, only with cabin baggage, and I arrive to the airport around an hour ago because I have an e-gate that allows me to pass trough immigration in a minute. This time, when I reach the first passport check, they told me that they had to double check if I could get in, because the time it was slightly below one hour and I probably want going to have time to reach my flight on time. They called a member of Emirates ground staff, to talk with his supervisor, that apparently was missing without notice. I explained him that because my e-gate pass, I could reach the gate in less than 15 minutes, but he keep me there while they were trying to find the supervisor. After 15 minutes, the supervisor finally called back, and approved my entry. I reach the gate in exactly 10 minutes while people still were boarding. I had plenty of time and I almost lost my flight because their lack of organization. I understand the procedure but you should keep a supervisor present."
