It was JFK to ICN, 70 min stay, then ICN to PUS. JFK to ICN flight was delayed 1 hour, and arrived at ICN about 30 min late. There was only 70 min stay at ICN to change flight. But because of the delayed arrival, I had only about 30 min to change flight. Koreanair waited for me while I was running to the gate. I almost missed the ICN to PUS flight. I suggest Never take this particular flight connection.

Leg room is ok, not as roomy as the flight from SFO to South Korea. When we boarded there was a strong smell burning fumes from the A.C. (air condition) that trigger my asthma and landed in Cebu very ill with asthma and allergy."

Attendants are also bi or tri-lingual in many instances and will even bring you water and other drinks if you need it. I never felt dehydrated or hungry like I have on other carriers, and I appreciate this so very much because it isn't cheap to buy a bunch of food/drink after security to bring on the plane just to not starve... NOT on KOREAN AIR - full belly, no chapped lips! They even have hydration spray in the bathrooms and lotion too!! You get slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, headphones, and did I mention the games and movies on your INDIVIDUAL SCREEN ARE FREE? In case you are wondering... I flew COACH. Another note from this trip on the level of service. There were a couple of people, who I think were Vietnamese. They spoke no Korean and no English. The flight attendants even made an effort to find another passenger who spoke the language to explain the U.S. Immigration form because the forms were in Korean and English as the flight was coming ion from Korea. It was probably also available in Chinese and Japanese since many from there also take the Korean Air flight to the U.S. Still, the couple spoke none of those languages. They were behind me. It turned out that no one else on the flight spoke their language. So what did the attendants do? Well, they filled out the forms for them so they could get to their family, who turned out to be in Houston."

We had a screaming child in the row ahead most of the flight and one of the flightees went so far as to walk the toddler in her arms around the plane to help smooth her. The food reminded me of airlines meals years ago with a served roll and butter, main course ( beef with potatoes and veggies) , a tofu and soy sauce side and ice cream for dessert- no plastic silver wear here, proper solid stainless. Lots of juice and water on offer all flight and beer, wine etc with meal. American carriers should take a leaf out of this airline's book!"

Service during flight was excellent. The footrest of my premium economy seat DIDN'T stretch out all the way, which defeats the purpose of reclining because my legs can't rest properly. Could you please ask your technicians to look into or re-calibrate the extension mechanism of the footrests of premium economy seats pease? I'll be traveling again in December. Hope it'll be fixed then.

Japan Airlines should have done better incorporated with other codeshare airlines (JetBlue) to make sure our reservation doesn’t get mess up and that’s one of the reason why we stayed in Newyork for the whole day to wait for the next flight. Could have been much better experience but it wasn’t and worse. My flight got delayed in Newyork causing us to miss out our flight on the outbound from Narita to Vietnam. On the way back, the agent from JP airlines messed up our reservation and separate our name into 2 different reservations making us running around to figure out how to get the boarding pass for my partner which is ridiculous.

An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

They wouldn’t let me board because Japan changed their entry policies and I did not get notified. Had to wait another day, pay rebooking fees and miss my family that I haven’t seen in 4 months. TERRIBLE!!

One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."

Ưu: "Overall, an excellent short flight. I was flying with oversize luggage (bicycle), which is offer a hassle. The ticket agent took care of it without issue, and it arrived safely. Food was OK. I would try Qatar for a long flight if the opportunity arises."

I had booked vegetarian meal option when I booked tickets, but by the time they got to my seat, I was told there is no more veggie meal left.. it happened with both dinner and breakfast. I asked the flight attendant to substitute some fruits for the egg, so that I can eat something. They said at 30000 feet altitude, the options were limited. I told him, so are my options limited, and running out of veggie food is not my problem, when I had booked veggie meal at 30000 feet and a flight duration of 16 hours. The attitude of one flight attendant "Ahmed" was horrible. He was never helpful, mean to passengers and would not offer any solution to any problem... I was travelling with an infant, and he refused to fill a bottle of water to prepare milk, and said that I had to wait until they finished their ongoing service.."

Khuyết điểm: "We were sitting in row 36 (D,E,F,G). Everything was fine until we realized there was a leak in the plane. On take off and landing the A/C leaked all over our clothes and seats. When we reacted and stood up, the flight attendant screamed at us and told us to sit down. Afterwards, the flight attendant asked us what was wrong and she had realized that the AC had leaked on us. All she did was put towels on our seat and walked away. For at least 10 minutes I had to raise a towel to catch the water from dripping onto our heads during lift off and landing."

They also serve food once and you don't get a snack or anything--you don't even see the attendants--for another 10 hours. Then they serve breakfast close to an hour before landing. The crew is constantly telling you to sit as if you weren't allowed to use the toilet at all when the seatbelt sign is on--and it's on the whole time. So you have to be asking permission to use the toilet when you are right next to the toilet door and about to go in because they don't allow you to use it. That's not healthy for someone to hold it."
