No drinks service because the flight was so short, and there was no wifi either.

AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in

Great landing with the added problem of stiff crosswinds. We also arrived 20 min early!

It took a long time to board. The real problem was the flight though. It was a little noisy (not the airlines fault) and incredibly hot.

Standard flight. Could be better by taking off on time and landing on time.

The lady at the check in desk never asked me if I was first class or main cabin. Just assumed I was main cabin. So they almost made me check my carry on until I showed my boarding pass. Other than that, everything was great. Smooth flight flight attendants were very nice

Entertainment was very plentiful, staff were courteous. Seating was HORRIBLE. That is the most cramped I’ve ever been on any flight …Jet Blue and Spirit included. Very uncomfortable for a six hour trip.

We were stuck next to the jet bridge for about 20 minutes because there was no one to operate it; as a result, I arrived late to get on my next flight. They close the flight even though there were about six passengers having connection delays because of American, the company refused to let us in the airplane even though the flight was in the ramp for about one more hour for unknown reasons."

No inflight film after many attempts to re-boot system. What has happened to American Airlines standards, they used to be so high?"

Flight crew repeated all instructions at least 3 times including video interruptions. What is the point of having in flight entertainment if crew will interrupt said entertainment at least once every 10 min to remind you you are still in turbulent air? Do they honestly think the passengers forgot? We are in the plane too! I understand they have to be careful due to liability but this airline is ridiculous. Believe it or not customers do not like being treated like children. Would not recommend to others or fly this airline again. Also, the lunch was awful even by airline standards. Btw the airline was avianca not AA. kayak must have messed up or they are owned by AA. AA is great and I recommend them wholeheartedly but Avianca is awful. Stay away if you can afford to do so."

The man took up half my seat. The flight attendants knew of the messed up seating but did not correct it. Overall disappointed, they should make sure everyone sat in the right place."

Attendant, when he finally appeared, seemed, to this traveler at least, unengaged, abrupt, even rude, certainly not as welcoming and helpful ad other UA counter attendants at busier airports and at more demanding times. The word lazy comes to mind. The same individual handled the gate. His demeanor there was similar. If it is UA policy to leave counters unattended, an explanation should be posted; if present policy requires one individual to handle counter and gate duties, perhaps more help is needed. This experience, all the more frustrating when a passenger ruses early so as to comply with recommended arrival and boarding times, combined with the fact that the incoming flight significantly delayed AVL to Washington depart setting the tone for a mostly mediocre experience crowned by a painful trek from terminal A to terminal C to catch the connection to PVD. Not a best effort by UA. Outstanding flight and cabin crews saved the day."

They suggested I waited 9 hours for the next available flight or to get one by AA in Reagan Airport in 3 hours. They told me that transportation to that airport would not be reimbursed and would cost between 20 and 40 dollars. I didn't know the airports were that far apart and the one-hour taxi drive cost me 80 dollars. From Sao Paulo to Washington, things went as well as expected. Once landed everything was horrible."

My flight landed late due to Airline delays no one would help me get across the entire airport the far terminal that I had to go to it was absolutely ridiculous because of this I'm still in Chicago I'm not even reached my destination"
Ưu: "The gate agent kept us well informed about our delayed flight - she kept calling to find out status of the flight and reported her findings to us after every call. United provided water and snacks in the gate area as we waited. Gate agent was pleasant and helpful to everyone during the delay."

Stayed with original flight since this was a direct flight. The flight ended up being 3 1/2 hours late. We had to wait for a ferried plane from Chicago. Just wondering if United knew at 3:00 am that they had problems, why did it take 13 hours for them to resolve it?"
Ưu: "It was a satisfying experience with United Airline from ABE shuttle bus ride (I said Shuttle) to EWR. It sure saved me the 2 hours driving during rush hour, and wears and tearS on my personal car, if you have 2 hours extra time during the day. Otherwise (If you want to save time), drive yourself to EWR and park."

I was highly upset and that was unfair. Long story short, at boarding they were able to give me a seat. I should have never went through that stress if I had a confirmed purchased ticket from the beginning."

Khuyết điểm: "The two big complaints are the food which was quite pathetic for a 14 hour flight - half of a cold sandwich and one cookie!!! Really?? They need to fly their competition and see how it should be done! The biggest complaint of all is their slight of hand baggage charges. If they're going to partner with another airline, they need some communication and agreement about pricing and allowances. Even though we are United Club members and credit card holders, we were charged nearly $400 to bring our luggage home, after paying just $30., yes, thirty, on Air New Zealand to take two extra bags! United's own overseas policy allows two bags, but they charged us anyway on return because we came on an airline that only allows one even though we paid ANZ to bring extra. Extremely illogical."
