For a 12 hour flight with seats that don't recline and nothing the on-board staff could do about the ticket counter's negligence and bad faith other than apologize. Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline..."

I was contemplating moving my flight but wanted to know if I could do it without getting charged (say if I had a doctor's note from the hospital) or at least how much I would have to pay... I didn't get to ask at all because (1) it was hard for me to find the correct customer service to call and (2) when I reached it, I was asked to call again as services were busy. I ended up taking the flight sick because I didn't want to rack up extra charges. Also, I find the seats pressing on to my thighs if my legs are in a relaxed position (meaning not trying to keep my knees together as if I was in a job interview). I've had to put a blanket or pillow between me and the armrests so they wouldn't hurt. Some airplanes have thinner more streamlined armrests and those have made some of my other travels more comfortable."

Khuyết điểm: "I don't have the exact flight times but flight from Seattle to Korea was suppose to arrive in Korea at around 18:00 and leave for Ho Chi Ming at 19:00. It arrived after 18:00, boarding was suppose to be at 18:40 but by the time I was able to get on the rail to the main station it was 18:40. Luckly a crew member had a sign and was calling out "HCMC". Luckily I am in good shape because we ran through the airport to the next connection as they were getting ready to close the plane doors. Need to have someone walk and time, the time of arrival from Seattle into Korea, onto the rail, to the main station and distance to gate 40. You may very well miss your flight."

Khuyết điểm: "6:40pm Friday flight was delayed 2 hours, and when we finally boarded, pulled away from the gate, and were ready to takeoff, they announced the flight was cancelled because they can't meet the curfew at Narita Airport. Took us another hour to deplane, and another hour to go through immigration and customs (yes we had to do it again), and get our bags. Then they sent us to a hotel 30 mins outside Seoul (they told us it was 20), gave us a Lotteria fast food burger and asked us to be in the lobby at 4:50AM (it was already midnight). Bus didn't have enough space for everyone so they had to call a van too. When we arrived at the airport after our 30 min ride, the bus dropped us off on the wrong side and we all had to walk 15 mins to the opposite end of the airport to check in. Since the rescheduled flight was the first flight out, the airport was super busy and security lines were extra long. After all those lines there was barely enough time to get on the plane. Summary: from originally scheduled time until wheels up I waited in about 6 hours of lines or just sitting around,1 hour of bus rides, slept 3 hours, and ate one lousy burger. All of this for what was supposed to be a nice weekend trip to Tokyo, which chopped down to a 30 hour stay in Tokyo. These guys should have known what time they can pull away from the gate to make curfew. There's no reason why we all had to go through this extra aggravation. Turns out Asiana has been making really tight schedules to accommodate the summer peak season, and they just can't keep up."

The two bags did not make the Chicago/Denver transfer, but were on the next United flight an hour later."

That is unhealthy and exacerbates the jet lag phenomena. An airplane is not a hotel and you have eye masks and such readily available for people sleeping. Oh, and I also like to look out the window! For this reason I am looking for another airline to fly for our semi annual trips overseas."

Not only that, I had to give up my iPad and my $4000 camera to checked luggage at the gate (not my luggage but theirs). Again...not the airlines fault but it was an absolute cluster F...."

They used to do a second drink service on this flight which was really nice before. Food was ok but TK has had better food on my other flights. The meatballs aren't as good as some of their more flavourful suppers."

The lines themselves were not a problem, but they did not provide nearly enough room at the gate for this, and the boarding started 2 hours before scheduled take off. Personally, I'd rather not sit on a plane for an hour before having to sit through a 10 hour flight, but we were not given a choice."

Once arrived I had to connect to American Airlines flight and have to walk one mille and change to get to the other side of the airport. It will be ok, but I was with a 3 year old minor and I have to deal with this and the child"

People pushing, standing right next to you, when you get on the plane all the old women who do not know how to read always walk to the back of the plane when they're supposed to be sitting in seat 7? Been there? Seen that? Yes ! Seen it a million times. What makes this particular flight so unbelievable, and maybe it was just a training day because there was a lot of airline personnel at the check in kiosk, but I have never processed on to a flight in Columbia, given up my baggage, and be walking to the gate so fast in my life! I truly hope this is something that will become standard, and I pray to God that the other airlines especially Viva will learn how to do!"

That plane should be used for shorter flights and not a 4 hour international flight. I am not expecting first class seats and 5 course meals. But for the same price I could have used other airlines."

Ưu: "I flew from Baltimore to Miami to Bogotá with zero issues. I am a musician and was traveling with my guitar, nobody hassled me and there was adequate space. The only issue was in Bogotá for my return flight. After struggling with the LATAM kiosk machine I was told by a LATAM ticket agent that flights from Bogotá to Miami are through American Airlines. Luckily a very nice American Airline agent accompanied me back to LATAM and convinced them my flight was with LATAM. Everything else was simple and easy!"

Khuyết điểm: "Air Canada Rouge operated our flight rather than Lufthansa or other similar airline. This meant that there were no tvs on board, which means the nearly 9 hour flight got very long. Boarding and check-in were also disorganized and many people from lower zones boarded before zone 1 and those with children, m among we had to stand on the ramp for a very long time holding our baby."

Arrival time was meant to Be 10:30pm and we arrived around 1:30am."

We specifically asked to be seated together and the lady told me we were. I even confirmed with her and she told me yes again. When we boarded we found out our seats were 17 rows apart. I found out that she did this for the connecting flight as well (not as far apart but still not together) this caused a great deal of stress as I couldn't help her when I needed to."

Do yourself a favor and find a flight on this aircraft. From takeoff to landing, there was never a question about our safety and comfort, and the sleek, organic aesthetic of the dream liner somehow met a new standard for both ergonomy and tech/entertainment. I especially found the sub ports in my personal screen useful."

Khuyết điểm: "The gate changed 4 times and there was confusion at final boarding. The Toronto airport TSA agents have absolutely no manners and need to be retrained or fired. Traveling has become very stressful and try make it worse. There was a Hispanic girl, heavy set with curly hair yelling at us to approach the scanners. I talked to her asking her to be gentle with us because we'd just flown for 7 hours and are suffering from time zone changes. Another yelled at my seatmate about his travel size after shave. She was a black Caribbean. She snapped at me about the importance of security and that he was rude for saying he didn't care that she'd throw his stuff away. I told her that he said he didn't care because he's tired and quite frankly, a trail sized aftershave that she doesn't approve actually doesn't matter and is nothing for her to get worked up about. Her colleagues were all staring at her as she started throwing her weight around and making unprofessional nonverbal noises. Then there the room where you weight for your name on the screen to appear if your number is 1 or 2. The people in there are extremely gruff. There was only one Hispanic woman who took my slip of paper that had my pic who said please and thank you. Then when you go to customs to get your passport signed, the guy at counter 10 starts arguing with me for no reason. I put 1 family member on the customs form. He asked if anyone is traveling with me. I said no. He clarified that one should mean an additional person and not just me traveling. I said it wasn't clear and I didn't know. But he decided to get argumentative with me about it until I said ok and walked away. Your TSA process is a nightmare. I did not experience that at Heathrow, Vienna, Or Tel Aviv (all places that have recently experienced terrorism). I didn't even experience it in my arrival town Denver. Toronto TSA is very very poor."

If I'd know it was going to be 3 hours, I would have maybe gotten some food and wandered away to find a place that had a spot to sit. Instead, standing on one foot and then the other, hungry for three house while Air Canada got their #@%*# together and found a plane that actually functioned appropriately."
