Thai Smile must be the only airline in the world that still doesn’t allow mobiles and iPads to be used during taxi, takeoff and landing. No inflight service due to COVID but a little snack and water handed out as we left the plane. I also like the deplaning by row, I wish more airlines did this

After we went through the security check, we brought the liquid products back to the boarding pass counter, our baggage had already been sent to downstream. But the staffs was very helpful, they provided a box, packed the liquid products for us and checked it in as the second luggage. This solved our headache and it was a huge deal for us, making us smile. Thanks to your crew/staffs again."

The line to check in had 10 people in front of me which then proceeded to take over 1.5 hours to reach the counter. then was the very last person to get on the flight - the plane then didn’t leave for another 30 minutes. Thai Smile managed to make a 1 hour flight to Vientiane turn into a 4-5 hour journey between arriving early, waiting forever in the counter check in line, then being driven to the plane and actually leaving. Bangkok Airways and Air Asia (don meaung) is the better option for this short journey."

Lost my money and had to buy another ecpencieve flight from Malaysia airlines because couldn't stay in transit zone more than 12 hours and couldn't get visa on arrival. Later coldn'd find that stupid transit policy ether on Thai Smile or Kayak. If that policy in place why not publish that BEFORE people spend their money for service not provided? Very unsatisfied"

I get a wheelchair assist (elderly woman with some mobility issues). The service person who brought me to the gate never showed up again to help with the boarding. Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

Cons: workers know little English compared to ANA from checking in to the flight attendants. I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

A space left for going to the toilet from the port side of plane to the starboard toilet in quite zone . Always stepping over people's feet up in the front economy seats.
They were short staffed with no managers on duty. Closed baggage check early causing me to miss my flight.

We waited in line to check the bag, found out that since we hadn't paid for it ahead of time, we could get the bag checked but would need to go stand in a new line to pay for it and could not have the bag tag until this was done. Then the new line only had one agent working all of the people who needed to pay for their bags. When we got to the front, we were asked to pay the bag fee with a credit card and the processing fee in cash. Since we were only connecting in Singapore, of course we did not have cash. She could not process the charge, walked us over to a new desk and a new line where they processed the bag charge without the cash fee (how this wasn't done initially, I have no idea) and finally, we were finished with the check in process an hour later."

As we hit the gate, she chased us down to yet again, say he couldn't board because of the same reason. She told him when he got back to Hyderabad that he would be charged as a criminal & be held in a cell all alone without a way to commicate to others. It was absolutely absurd!! We made it back to Hyderabad and like we knew the whole time, his VISA was fine."

If Scoot's food was more reasonably priced I would buy it, but it is overpriced and therefore I need to bring my own. The seats are uncomfortable for sleeping in. The cabin temperature was a bit cold and with no blanket supplied this made it hard to sleep. Even though you are flying between two tropical destinations, I would recommend bringing a jumper."

Only one service officer was being bombarded with questions from passengers when it would save so much trouble just making a proper announcement in the first place. Boarding queue also merged with another flight departing at a similar time, causing a massive bottleneck. Whilst on board, pre-ordered food was not served with cutlery and it took another 15 mins to get the attn of the stewardess to get the cutlery served. Would have been faster to just get it myself."

But this time I went to International in Chiang Mai to check in and found that you had bungled the booking. You booked me Chaing Mai to Bangkok on a DOMESTIC flight, and expected me to get onto the next leg, International,Bangkok to Denpasar, in 2 hours. You left me only 2 hours to disembark in Bangkok, get luggage at the Domestic carousel, go through customs, take luggage to the Check In counter in the International, get boarding pass, go through customs and security. Then race to the boarding gate for my INTERNATIONAL flight to Denpasar. What a trauma. The International Air Asia check in was mobbed!! I only made it in time because staff at the check in found me by chance and put me to the front of the line. I won't use Kayak again, after using you for 15 years. You have a nerve selling such a ticket."

When we arrived to Krabi, our checked bags were at a different terminal so we had to go to the other side of the airport to get our bags that were sent from siem reap. Waste of 40 minutes!"

Ưu: "Several budget airlines make up their profits by fees. Didn't know this was such an airline going in. If you know going in you will be in a seat that doesn't allow enough leg room for your feet to sit flat on floor and a drink of water has a cost associated you may not be disappointed."

No other airline appeared to have that problem. No food or drink served. No in flight entertainment. I'd go with another airline in the future. We are on a 3week holiday and taking stuff out of our checked bag to reduce the weight to 15kg was nothing short of a nightmare."

Khuyết điểm: "I booked a flight on Air Asia from Chang Mai to Krabi during a vacation in Thailand. Luckily it was only a two hour flight because the seats are absolutely tiny. I am 6'4" and am used to having pretty much zero legroom on flights, but this was another level. I had an aisle seat and had to sit with my legs completely spread open into the aisle for the two hour flight. Don't book this airline if you are over 6ft tall and plan on flying standard economy."

Significantly more expensive at the airport, but the check-in staff worked with us so it was only $50USD (instead of the $250USD it could have been). Do your research on the baggage policy before traveling to avoid a hassle."

Khuyết điểm: "There were hundreds of mosquitos on the plane and they decided to spray bug spray after they closed the doors right before take off!! Hands down one of the most disgusting experiences of my life. They also ripped us off with our checked luggage. Not pleased."

The seat itself was very uncomfortable and barely reclined. I'm also not very tall (5'8) so I can only imagine for taller people. The was no inflight entertainment or wifi whatsoever."

I tried to get a hold of them for a week prior to our flight to get it moved back a month but there was no way to reach a representative. I'm sure there would of been a fee but with the doctors note I was hoping they could give us a little break and just reschedule the flight. Even if they charged a fee I would of been fine with that but I wasn't even able to get a hold of someone to discuss that option. I just had to eat the ticket and rebook it later at twice the price."

I had no idea it was a budget airline, but if low price is what you're after don't fall for the price of air Asia flights, they charge extra for a bag over the weight limit...which is 10kg lesser than competing airlines weight limits, and also any food or drink you have to pay for, and also if You are not at the front of the plane be prepared to have other choices in food or drink because they run out of the good stuff that everyone is getting, but even the good stuff is extremely poor"

Khuyết điểm: "90 minutes delay leaving due to late arrival of prior flight. Little communication from the staff as to the expected departure time. Complete CF at the airport. But once we were on the plane, it was OK. No food, no drinks, not even any water. Minimal space for the knees. No baggage at all include with the fare. I would have paid for bags in advance, but website make this impossible unless you become a "member", which mean giving all sorts of personal information that they don't need. After queuing for 30 minutes to drop my bag, I then had to wait again in a different queue to pay the bag fee."

Air Asia is just like Spirit airlines but the website won't tell you about the bag fees, food fees, EVERYTHING HAS A FEE! They charge by weight, so when traveling be ready to spend an extra 500-900 baht for 17-20 kilos in luggage weight. Also, when boarding the crew has no communication skills or control. They announced boarding for certain passengers and it became anarchy with everyone flooding to the front and forcing their way first. MAJOR SECURITY ISSUE!! We feel tricked and will never use either booking.com or Air Asia ever again!! James A. Guyot"
