Khuyết điểm: "Coffee was the worst I've ever had. The 2+1 powdered mil and coffee stick. Truly awful. But i suppose there aren't many people on the flight who would order coffee..I would even pay extra for a coffee if they had a quality option. Food is comparable to a school canteen. I would probably pay 20rmb for this in Shanghai. Frozen butter for the half-frozen bread. They really couldn't do worse..."

Taking atleast 15 minutes to be cleared just 1. 1h 45 minutes to finish everything. Wuhan haha next time free flight i will not bother. Ohh 1 more thing. They use the Communist system in the international airport"

Ưu: "The service was outstanding. They had a person waiting as we got off the first flight to guide us to the second flight. The stewardesses were attentive and outstanding. The seats were comfortable, the food and movie optons were top notch. I can't recommend business class highly enough."

Ưu: "Transfer was handed well between domestic and international terminals, but not a moment to spare. Cabin crew was attentive and highly professional. The announcements were handled well. Will fly them again!"
Khuyết điểm: "In Guangzhou there was just enough time to transfer between flights. If there had been a delay, I would have easily missed the connection. The connections at Guangzhou involve multiple gyrations of shuttles between terminals and immigrations, etc. There was an opportunity to upgrade the cabin while boarding, but was not well announced or implemented. I would have welcomed the chance to upgrade."
Ưu: "Crew were lovely. Plane was barely loaded so my husband was able to switch seats to sit next to me. Pleasant flight."
Khuyết điểm: "One movie for everyone and it was a stupid movie. Not sure why my husband wasn't automatically seated with me since the plane was barely half full."
Ưu: "Out of Guangzhou (CAN), the food was dreadful. They cannot make decent coffee, either! They did have UHT milk instead of powdered creamer for the coffee, so that was better than usual! Once the flight attendant rebooted my non-functioning entertainment system, it had quite a bit to offer."
Khuyết điểm: "Seated in the last row, so the seat would not recline so much as an inch. On such a long flight (something over 14 hours), a hard, cramped seat is difficult to endure. Aircraft was filled to bursting, not a single vacant seat. With so many people, boarding could be better organized. Not the most experienced or competent of pilots, either. Could not handle crosswinds landing at JFK, so it was a rather hairy landing, weaving down the runway."

Khuyết điểm: "I reserved the wheel chair service but when I checked in at the counter with the wheel chair symbol, I was told they changed the counter to the other one which is far away and they also rejected to help me check in there. I had to move to the one with a long queue to handle those standby customers. This is my worst experience ever. The service of China Southern airline is becoming worse and worse. Never recommend again."

Khuyết điểm: "When checking in in Shenyang, the China southern airline rep kept asking me about my expired passport, even after I showed them the new passport I was holding is to replace the expired one (the expired passport number is showing on the 3rd page of the new passport). Rep says the ticket is linked to the expired passport. I don't know how this happened as I waited until I got my new passport in NY to book the trip on justfly.com, and no one asked about it when I travelled to China."

Khuyết điểm: "Getting information or confirmation of my flight ahead of time was impossible. The web site wants a string of three identifiers delimited by some single character in some order. I know I saw two different orders for those three and believe I saw a third. I never got in."

Ưu: "Crew was friendly and most spoke some English. They offered drinks throughout the flight and were courteous. Personal TVs were nice."
Khuyết điểm: "Take off was late. Could not use my cell phone the entire flight even if it was on airplane mode. Absolutely ridiculous as I've never had another airline do this. Why can I use an iPad but not an iPhone? The meal could've been much better. Maybe some other, better snacks instead?"

Khuyết điểm: "Chicken in our meal had gone bad. Crew very apologetic. Then the plane was terribly hot and crew kept making excuses and the problem was never resolved. Faucet in the bathroom sprayed everywhere. One of the worst flights I've ever taken but not so off the mark for Chinese carriers"

Ưu: "On-time flight. Served food was okay. Entertainment syatem was above average. Flight attendants were nice and attentive. My entertainment console was not working and they lent me a tablet as a replacement."
