Emirates airlines does not inform there passengers of the required documents even at there counter in the start of the trip tell they don’t allow you to take your flight to the final destination. After that they say it’s not there Problem and you have to sort it out. Emirates is one of the worst airlines you can travel with.

Khuyết điểm: "On our departure flight the entertainment system stopped working completely at my daughter's seat mid-flight (the whole screen went black, remote control and all). The flight attendant tried and was unable to fix it, so they moved a passenger in the row my husband and I were in and put my daughter there. None of the entertainment systems worked well, the touch screens were barely responsive - they definitely need updating. On our return flight the power in the whole row that my three pre-teen kids were in stopped working. Again the flight attendant tried unsuccessfully to fix. My husband and I switched rows with them so they could continue to watch movies. Each time we called the flight attendant she came, said she would try to reset the systems and that we should wait a few minutes. We waited and ultimately had to go find her again to be told the same thing again. After this happened three times she sent the manager over who said she could not fix it since that would mean that the whole area would have to be reset and they didn't want to disturb anyone else. The only solution they offered was to give my husband and I open seats (not together and not near our kids) around the cabin. We did not want to split up, so my husband and I spent the rest of the hours of the flight in the dark (lights didn't work either as they are connected to the system) reading with the light from our cell phones. None of the people who came to assist us really seemed to care at all about our comfort or situation."

Ưu: "The staff at the check in counter at JFK was very friendly and accommodating, much like the crew on the flight. Boarding was orderly and efficiently executed, although some announcement about the 30-minute boarding delay would have been appreciated. Onboard the seating was quite comfortable compared with other airlines I have travelled on and the crew was exceptional in their service - really customer-focused. The meals were tasty with unlimited snacks and complimentary drinks. Generally, I would highly recommend this airline."

Onboard, the TV (ICE) and internet were struggling to keep up with user demand. Did not load or connect sometimes. Different crew members had same standard answer - try later. While sleeping in Business class, I was woken up twice by a rude crew member (Velma Ndubi). She even refused to tell me her name because she did not want me to complain. Her attitude ruined the flight for me."

We had only 1 hour and 25 minutes at Dubai to catch our India flight and our in New York started late by nearly an hour....worrying us! Though the delay was made good during the NY Dubai flight, there was no assurance from the Captain about this when we left NY....and we were doing calculations throughout the 14 hour flight!"

Ưu: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Khuyết điểm: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Khuyết điểm: "It was a little noisy in our seats (we were next to one of the crew areas). But the biggest gripe was about the way we were treated when queuing. We all expect to have to wait our turn but it's incredibly frustrating when 1) the system isn't fair (eg splitting a queue into two then allowing those behind you to go to the front of a new line) and 2) treating us like second class by drawing a curtain in front of our faces so Business class people don't have to see us when they disembark."

Ưu: "I was traveling back to the US after being sick with a pregnancy related condition in Uganda. The flight from Dubai to Dallas was the longest leg of my trip. I got sick during the flight and was so impressed by how the flight attendants handled the situation. They kept checking on me during the flight, asking if I needed anything, encouraging me, and taking care of me. I really appreciated the help!"
